PART NINE

I wake up to the sound of my alarm blaring next to my ear, "Shut up!" I groan and throw my phone on the carpet. I make my way over to my dresser and throw on a random hoodie as well as a pair of comfortable shorts. I walk downstairs to the kitchen where everyone is seated, eating breakfast. "Good morning sweetheart!" Maria smiles brightly and takes a bite out of her food, "Good morning." I smile back and yawn, "Breakfast is up there." Vinnie mumbles and points to the eggs and bacon sitting on the stovetop. I nod and grab a plate, surprised he even spoke to me.

Everyone sits around the table, conversing with each other but I mainly just focus on eating. Once I'm done eating I go back upstairs and just decide to take a shower. Before I can get in the shower, I get a text from someone I haven't heard from since the part, the one he left me at to be with another girl.

Deciding to just ignore him, I turn do not disturb on and I turn get in the shower. The warm water runs down my body and soaking my hair. As I follow my usual shower routine, I hear footsteps walking up to the door. I decide to just brush it off, thinking it's someone walking past.

I see the doorknob turn, what the hell? I swear I locked it! Before I can reach for my towel to cover myself up, the door is wide open and I see a very stunned Vinnie standing in the doorway. "Vinnie get out!" I shout and he doesn't say anything, he just quickly walks out. I put my face in my hands and sigh, that was so fucking embarrassing.

I wrap my towel around my body and step out of the shower. I groan and walk out of the bathroom angrily and make my way into Vinnie's room. Without knocking, I barge my way in and see him sitting on his bed. He looks up at me confused and I just look at him angrily. "What the fuck Vinnie!" I whisper yell, hoping not to alert everyone else in the house. "What?" He plays dumb and laughs, "That wasn't funny!" I whine and hit his arm. "Why couldn't you knock?" I ask and he rolls his eyes, "I had to piss." He just shrugs.

 "God, you're so annoying!" I cross my arms and lean against his door. "You should be careful about that towel falling, wouldn't want something else happening; would you?" He laughs and I roll my eyes before storming out of the room. I do not want to deal with him right now. I quickly changed my outfit and got ready for the day, not knowing what I was even gonna do.

I open my phone to find another text from Colby.
