PART EIGHT

I woke up with puffy eyes and day old mascara on my face, I was finally able to sleep after what my mom had said to me. It still hurt but I felt somewhat better. I was able to talk to Alaya about it and she had talked to me until I fell asleep. She promised that she would come over today, which of course she went through with. 

I heard a knock on my door and opened it to see Alaya standing in front of me, she immediately engulfed me into a hug and held me tightly. "Let's go get food." She smiles, "I'm not hungry it's okay." I reply and she shakes her head, "I wasn't asking you. You haven't eaten in like two days and it is my duty as your best friend to make sure you take care of yourself." She replies and pulls me out of my room and drags me into the bathroom.

"First lets get this mascara off your face." She takes a makeup wipe and grabs my chin. "Thank you Alaya." I smile and she kisses my forehead, "Of course." She smiles back and I get off the counter she made me sit on. 

"Wanna get chick fil a?" She asks and I nod, "As long as we can get ice cream after." I smile and she laughs, "Anything you want." She smiles back and we both walk out of the bathroom. I'm glad Alaya was here, I feel like she's the only one that really understands me.

I see Vinnie as we walk downstairs, he looks back at me but doesn't say anything to annoy me and be rude which leaves me somewhat surprised. Anytime I see Vinnie I expect him to say something to me, he probably heard me crying and just pities me.

We get into her car and blast Frank Ocean the entire time, that's our thing we do everytime we're together. Our favorite song is White Ferrari, it's popular but we call it our song. The moment it comes on we both start cheering, immediately singing along.

"I'm sure were taller in another dimension. You say we're small and not worth the mention." We sing along, screaming the lyrics. We continue singing along to Frank Ocean songs until we finally get to chick fil a. We order our food and decide to just eat in the car.

"Thank you for taking me out." I smile at Alaya, "Of course, I could tell you needed to get away from home." She replies taking a bite out of her food.

For the rest of the day, we spent every moment with each other. We got ice cream together and decided to go to the beach to watch the sunset. She knows I love the sky so everytime we hang out, she tries to let me be able to watch the sunset. 

Alaya takes my phone out to take a picture to post on my instagram story but is distracted by a notification. "Vinnie followed you!" She says happily showing me the notification, he followed me yesterday and I had no idea. I was surprised he did and very confused. "Why would he follow me if he hates me so much?" I furrow my eyes, "Maybe he doesn't hate you as much as you think he does."

i.love.vinnie yall fr need to chill, we dont know anything about her and from the looks of it she seems really sweet. yall are just mad shes pretty and she actually has a chance with vinnie but that does not give yall the right to constantly shame her for literally existing like i get yall are insecure and shit but like just leave her alone 😭😭
