PART THREE

After the whole incident it was actually pretty decently fun, I didn't drown again which I was very happy about. Vinnie decided to just do his own thing while me, Jett, and Jordan we're playing around. The only time I saw Vinnie doing something is when he was making a tiktok, I honestly didn't know he was like, famous and shit. 

After an hour we decide to leave the beach and go get some food. "What do y'all want?" Jordan asks, "Chipotle!" I say and Jett agrees with me, "Vinnie?" he looks over to Vinnie, "What do you want?" Jordan asks, "I don't care." he says bluntly and pulls out his phone. "Chipotle it is." Jordan smiles.

 I really wish I could say thank you to Vinnie but I really don't think he wants to talk to me.

After we get all of our food and leave chipotle, we decide to just go back home. "Are you guys staying at my house tonight?" Vinnie asks the two boys, "Nah, I can't tonight." Jordan sighs, "I have to go visit my family tomorrow, I can't" Jett frowns, Vinnie just nods but I can tell he's disappointed.

When we get back home, Jett and Jordan drop me and Vinnie off. There's no cars in the driveway so I'm guessing there's nobody home. Vinnie walks in front of me and opens the front door.

"Vinnie." I try to get his attention, "What?" he mutters annoyed, why is he in such a bad mood? "I just wanted to say thanks." I half smile and he just keeps walking, "My mom would have killed me if I let you get hurt." 

I should have known he only did it for that reason, he probably would care less if I seriously died. "You can't even say you're welcome?" I scoff, "I don't have to say anything to you, I don't even have to listen to you." he rolls his eyes, "Why are you such a bitch?" I laugh with a tone of annoyance. "Why are you such a brat?" he mocks, "Ugh, whatever." I turn away from him and walk upstairs to my room.

To calm myself down, I decide to facetime Alaya. After a few rings, she answers with a smile on her face. 

"Hey, how did the beach go?" She asks, "I literally drowned in front of Vinnie and his fine ass friends." I press my lips together into a straight line, "No fucking way, why would you even go in the water if you can't swim." She laughs, "Hey stop laughing, this shit was traumatizing!" I put my head into the soft pillow laying under me. "Did any of them help you?" She questions, "Vinnie did and then after I said thank you he completely brushed me off, he's a total asshole." I roll my eyes, "But he's hot." she says causing me to shake my head. 

Alaya and I talk for about an hour before she has to go. After we say our goodbyes, I decide to take a quick shower to get all the salt water and sand off of me that I had forgot about. 

Once I'm down showering, I check my phone to find a text message from Maria.

be getting home late so I ordered a 

pizza for you and Vinnie! Reggie is at 

his friends house for the night. If we 

get home after you fall asleep,

Maria has always been amazing to me, she's always been there for me and I love her for that. To be honest she's always been more of a mom to me than my own.

I sit in bed watching tv while I wait for the pizza to get here. As soon as I here the doorbell ring, I shoot up from my bed and rush downstairs; I'm starving. When I open the door I see a fairly tall, attractive guy holding the pizza. "Hey!" I smile, "Hi, here's your pizza." He smiles back revealing braces that surprisingly suit him very well. "Oh, let me grab some cash for your tip." I say and walk over to where my bag is.

Feeling bold, I decide to also grab a small sticky note and write my number down. I hide the note in between two 10 dollar bills and walk back to the door. "Here you go." I hand it to him, purposefully brushing hands with his. "Thanks." He says with a slight tint of pink on his cheeks, he's cute.

I close the door shortly after he walks away and see Vinnie sitting on the couch. "Flirting with the pizza boy?" he stares at me, "Stalker." I mutter as I set the pizza on the table. "It's not stalking when we live under the same roof." he shrugs, taking a piece of the pizza. "I don't live here, this is a temporary thing." I state and sit down in the chair farthest from him. "You sure? I mean your mom just dropped your ass off here and left." he laughs.

Are you serious?

"Don't act like you know anything about my life." I clench my fists under the table. "Just saying." he shrugs and takes a bite out of his pizza. As much as I wanna react to what he's saying, I can't give him that satisfaction. This boy makes thirst traps for a living and thinks he's hot shit, bitch no you literally lip sync for 15 seconds and have little 12 year olds wanting to suck your dick; a little weird. "Okay Mr. Vienna Sausage." I laugh before walking back upstairs with my pizza slice in my hand.

This boy is going to be the death of me.

The next morning, I wake up to a text message from an unknown number.
