HATE YOU THE MOST || VINNIE HACKER

PART TWO

It's been a day since I got here and it's been okay, pretty boring though. Vinnie hasn't talked to me really, at dinner last night I would catch him staring at me but he would look away when I noticed. Reggie's really sweet, I figured out he's a year younger than me after I stalked both the brothers on instagram. Social media stalking is one of my biggest talents.

As I lay in bed watching tv, someone knocks on my door. "Come in!" I shout and the door opens slowly, "Jordan, hey." I smile as he walks in, he's one of the least expected people to come into my room. "Hey, we were about to go to the beach; you wanna come?" He asks, "Yeah, let me put my swimsuit on." I say and he nods, exiting my room. 

I wonder if Vinnie knows I'll be there, he seems to not like me already but I could honestly care less.

I throw on a black bikini and a oversized white button up shirt over. I slide on a pair of sandals and walk downstairs where everyone is. Vinnie notices what I'm wearing and a wave of confusion flows through him, "Who said you were coming?" he scoffs, "Jordan did." I smile, "Jordan can't decide if your coming or not." he rolls his eyes, "Chill Vinnie it's fine, plus we're taking my car." he states and Vinnie gives me a dirty look. 

Someone has a staring problem.

The car ride is honestly boring, Vinnie ruined the mood every time I would try to start a conversation so I just gave up. Luckily, the beach isn't too far from his house so I don't have to be put through literal torture. 

I met this boy yesterday and he already hates me.

We all get out of the car and before we set all our stuff down my best friend, Alaya facetimes me. I quickly rush to answer her call. 

"Hey wifey." She drags out the 'y', "Hi Alaya, I miss you." I state, "Where are you right now?" she asks, "The beach." I show her the view in front of me, the group of guys also in front of me. "Girl is that Vinnie Hacker?" her jaw drops, "How do you know Vinnie, and yes." I make sure he is far enough to where he can't hear our conversation. "Bitch he's like famous on tiktok, how do you not know him for that?" she laughs, "You know I don't have tiktok, I'm staying with him and his family over the summer since our moms are friends." I explain, "Bro you're lucky as fuck, I will be visiting soon!" she jokes and I shake my head, "He's a bitch, trust me." I roll my eyes, "Everyone can use a little degrading in their life every once in a while." she shrugs and we both laugh, I look over to Jordan and Jett calling me over, Vinnie just rolling his eyes at the boys. "Hey I got to go, call you tonight?" I smile, "Of course, go get yourself some dick." she blows a kiss before hanging up the call.

Alaya is basically the only person that's been through everything with me. She knows about all my family problems and her family basically took me in when I most needed it. Alaya has always put me first over everyone in her life and I will forever do the same.

When I walk over to the boys, Jordan comes up to me. "Wanna swim with us?" He smiles, I'm so lucky the beach is shallow at first cause I can't swim for my life. I swear to god if I almost drown in front of everyone I will be staying underwater and never coming up. "Sure." I say hesitantly and slide off my huge shirt. I notice the guys eyeing my body but I just brush it off.

"Let's go!" Jett smiles and runs toward the water. I follow after him and Jordan and slowly make my way to the water.

Please god don't let this day be my last. 

I walk into the water, the cold hitting me instantly. "Holy shit it's freezing." I shout, "Stop being a crybaby." Vinnie mumbles, "Why the fuck do you have such a bad attitude?" I scoff and he just rolls his eyes and turns away from me. 

I am so close to slapping the shit out him.

While I'm not facing Jordan, he splashes me. I turn back toward him and I find him laughing at my reaction, "I hate you." I laugh and splash him back causing him to get closer to me. "What are you do-" I get cut off by him throwing me into the deeper water, the water is around 6 feet and I can't reach the bottom; fuck.

I keep myself afloat for a little bit but I finally end up not being able to stay up. At this point I'm not thinking about the fact I'm literally drowning, all I'm focused on is how fucking embarrassing this is. 

I'm under the water for about 30 seconds before I feel a strong grip around my waist, pulling me above the water. As I finally get my head above the water I wrap my arms around whoever is holding me, not even thinking about who it is. After I'm finally able to catch my breath, I look at who's holding me; Vinnie. Maybe he doesn't hate me so much, I mean he literally just saved my life.

"Holy shit, I am so sorry Leilani; are you okay?" Jordan asks as I detach myself from Vinnie, "It's okay, I'm fine." I take a few deep breaths. I look over to Vinnie walking out of the water before I can say anything to him. "If I had known you couldn't swim I wouldn't have done that." He frowns, "It's really no big deal, it's okay." I reassure him and walk out of the water.

God woke up today and chose to make me drown, how sweet.
