Author's note: inspired by Doctor Seuss. I thought it was about time that I tried to write a more happy poem.
Also, I was thinking about adding more to this one. Should I?

Where are readers?
Here or there?
Guess what?
They're everywhere!
Do you find them in a book?
Draw them in with a hook?
Create a cover that will say
Read me through, all the way?
Do they stop by to kill time?
Do they stop to critique rhyme?
Did they decide to take a stroll?
Or do they simply just troll?
Are they behind electric screens?
Pretending to eat healthy greens?
Or are they other writers
Trying to rebuild their inner fires?
But, how do you find them?
Draw attention to your gem?
Even though you spread the word
You wonder if they even heard.
If nothing works show a friend
If not, then it's not the end
As a last resort, writers must wait
Readers now hold the writer's fate
