The Desert Kingdom

In a desert unknown to man

There was a kingdom in the sand

They drew their water from underground

Constantly, all year round

Until one day, a traveller stopped by

He asked, "how do you not die?"

The people of the kingdom simply stared

Not a word to show they even cared

So the weary traveller asked this

"Why is this kingdom in such wonderful bliss?"

Again no answer except for the sun's setting red

So the traveller left and ended up dead

Right after he died, the kingdom fell

Nothing was left about it to tell

...

Years passed and another traveller set out

To find out what this kingdom was about

Hopefully, he will return

Otherwise, like the first

He will burn
