"It would really mean a lot if you would be there for her"
"Oh yeah? did she take into account what I would feel if I'm there?" Jisoo asked, she could feel her blood literally boiling
"Jisoo-" Whatever Lisa had to say was cut off by Jennie walking inside the room
It took Jennie Kim about 2 seconds since walking in the room to figure out what they were talking about, "Are you fucking kidding me, Manoban?" she asked Lisa
"What? - We're still-"
"Friends?" Jisoo almost laughs, "Oh we were more than that"
Lisa sighs defeatedly, "I just don't get why we can't go back to the way things were - Jennie and I managed to patch things up" Lisa looks at Jennie for help even though she knows she's on her own this time
"Lisa" Jisoo says as calmly as she can, "you and Jennie managed to patch things up when you two broke up because you had a mutual break up - we didn't. She kept me like a dirty secret from everyone" Jisoo reminds the thai
"Heck! we've dated far longer than you two did but the only people who knew we were in a relationship are in this room - and, of course her" she adds. "So, No. I will not attend her wedding"
"Okay" Lisa says defeatedly

Jennie can't stop the smirk in her face as she see a familiar face walking inside Park Chaeyoung's wedding rehearsal - she didn't like what Chaeyoung did to Jisoo and she will forever be on Jisoo's side but seeing her in Chaeyoung's wedding will be funny - it's not funny now, but it will be
"Don't" Jisoo warns when she walked past her and towards Chaeyoung's parents, no doubt the reason why Jisoo was even here.
Jennie didn't miss the way Chaeyoung looked at Jisoo when she saw her walk in. Obviously, Jisoo will be seated next to Jennie and that gives her about 2 hours to torture Jisoo into answering why she's here
But it seems like she doesn't need to because 3 seconds after Jisoo sits down next to her, she says, "Her dad bumped into me at the grocery store and he asked if I already RSVP'd"
"I think it's funny that it's been what? 3 - 4 years? since you two broke up and you still can't say no to her parents" Jennie says, "a little less funny that nobody in this room except for me, Lisa, Chaeyoung and you - knew you two even dated"
On the day of the actual wedding, Jisoo was one of the first people to arrived which made her an easy target for her Chaeyoung's mom.
"I'm glad you could make it" Mrs. Park says
Jisoo just smiled, she was only here for two reasons - she bumped into Mrs. Park in the mall and asked her if she was going to make it to her daughter's wedding and Mr. Park was there. Jisoo was like another daughter to them so it was hard to say no and so she's there.
"For what it's worth - I'm glad you two made up" Mrs. Park says
"Made up?" Jisoo asked, she bit back her tongue to prevent her from saying anything that might bite her in the ass later
"You and Chaeyoung - young love. Happens to the best of us" Mrs. Park continues as Jisoo stared at her confuse
"What are you--?" she was cut off by Mrs. Park's soft laugh
"You don't think my daughter would date someone without me knowing?"
"She told you?" Jisoo asked in disbelief
"It wasn't that hard to figure out - what else could you two be doing at 12 midnight with the doors closed and no sound other than that wretched song playing on repeat" Mrs. Park looked at her pointedly
"Hey, the cab is a classic band" Jisoo defended purposely ignoring the fact that Chaeyoung's mom knew they dated
"Did she...tell anyone else?" she asked
"Not that I know of" Mrs. Park smiled at her softly and sadly, like she knew what was running through her head. "She had her fair share of mistakes, sweetheart - but she loved you. I'm almost 100% sure she still does"
Jisoo laughs at that, if Chaeyoung really loved her she would be the one up in that stage and not some guy. "I guess some things are just not meant to be" she says
After she goes back to her and Jennie's table, her bestfriend immediately bombarded her with questions. "So, what did Mrs. Park say?"
"Apparently she knew Chaeyoung and I dated" Jisoo reveals
"Jisoo, Of course she knew - you fucked in her house for christsakes"
She glared at her bestfriend, "So it wasn't her parent's that was the problem - I don't know if that's comforting or not"
"It means she broke up with you cause you're the problem" Jennie teased but turns serious for a moment, "She loved you that's for sure"
"Just not enough to stay"
Jisoo smiled bitterly at that as the newlywed dance their first dance as a married couple.
"Still hurts like hell though" she laughs but it was hollow -
