In Lieutenant Jisoo Kim's line of work things get a little too gruesome for her liking, being in the force for almost all her life changed the way she looked at life but then again being in foster care until she was 18 already did that.
The raven haired woman disliked a lot of things including people and the heinous crimes they are capable of committing like now- She's standing in front of a corpse of an 18 year old woman who was brutally murdered and left dead on the side of the road
"Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people?" she asks no one in particular, the crew around her knew better than to talk to NYPD's resident hard ass.
"There's no sign of struggle in the scene and our vic died from strangling so she was most likely killed somewhere else and then dumped here" one of the CSI crew says
"Send me the victim's profile and the results of the forensics"
"Will do, Lieutenant"
There are two people in the entire world that managed to break down Jisoo Kim's walls. Jennie Kim, the head of the forensics department and Jennie's girlfriend - Lisa Manoban, a fellow detective that is funny enough, respectful enough and brave enough to go against her
The two took it as their responsibility to improve the Lieutenant's social skills hence why she's in her best not-a-cop look and inside a bar that is not their cop bar.
"Do you really need the leather jacket?" Jennie asks in disbelief
"What? you got me this for Christmas" Jisoo shrugs, "and who are we meeting?"
"Irene, Seulgi and Chaeyoung" Lisa answers and grabs a bucket of beer and steered Jennie and Jisoo to a vacant table
"Chaeyoung?" the lieutenant asks, she's familiar with Seulgi and Irene- the other couple in their precinct that doesn't piss Jisoo as much
"My friend from the academy" Lisa supplies and pops open a beer
A solid minute passed and three other people arrived at their table, "Lieutenant" Seulgi Kang greets earning a glare from Jisoo
"Bear" Jisoo tries her best impression of Irene's sweet voice
"Not cool" Irene says and sits down beside Jennie- Chaeyoug, the blonde girl sits next to Jisoo
"Jisoo this is Chaeyoung- a friend of mine from the academy" Lisa formally introduced
The raven haired girl offered her hand but the blonde had another thing in mind as she pulls Jisoo for a hug that made her freeze. She values her personal space on top of everything but since this the first time she saw the girl and probably the last time she lets it slip
The conversation is stiff but once the drinks starts rolling in the atmosphere is almost as light as a feather, "So what is it that you do?" Seulgi asks Chaeyoung
"Seul, we've known each other for 5 years now" The blonde answers with a laugh
"I know! but Jisoo isn't asking and I know she's interested" Seulgi slurs, clearly drunk.
