It starts with a rumor- everything starts with a rumor.
News traveled fast that YG high's resident church girl Park Chaeyoung have a crush on Seoul's spoiled brat Jisoo Kim, naturally the rumor would have died down by a day or so but it has been a week and everybody is still staring at Chaeyoung everywhere
Eventually she gets tired of it and asks help- from the student council president Jennie Kim and her best friend's girlfriend and much to her chagrin is also Jisoo Kim's cousin
"As much as I want to help you there's really nothing I can do, Chae" Jennie shrugs, "it's high school, everyone here loves a little drama" The brunette gave her an apologetic smile and then went off to see Lisa
Chaeyoung- being...well her, followed Jennie through the bleachers where there's a perfect view of Lisa training for soccer (Jisoo is also on the team)
"Come on!" she whines, "there must be something you can do"
Jennie seems to think about it, "I mean...the best way to erase a rumor is to make it come true" She sing songs
Chaeyoung gives her a pointed look, "I am not dating Jisoo Kim- no offense but she is worse than Lisa"
Jennie was offended- "what's wrong with Lisa?" just not in the way Chaeyoung thought she would
"She's my best friend and I love her but she's lazy and too carefree for her own good if not for you she would've been kicked out of the team long ago"
"...true but like Lisa, Jisoo do have redeeming qualities- they both... try I guess I mean Lisa tries you know... to be better"
"I know that but Jisoo? Again no offense that girl thinks her black card can buy anything-"
"Technically it can-"
"Still, she's spoiled, over bearing, egotistic spoiled brat"
"Easy, that's my cousin" Jennie warns, Chaeyoung ignores her
"Who even started this stupid rumor?" She asks
"There's an anonymous twitter account that spills the beans- though not totally accurate on your case"
Chaeyoung is watching Jisoo from afar practice her dribbling skills- soccer is the only time she sees the raven haired girl serious
"Who runs this account?" She asks Jennie
"It's called anonymous for a reason"
"Well I'm pissed that everyone thinks I want to bang Jisoo Kim"
"Don't you?" Jennie asks and Chaeyoung wanted to say no but her eyes wandered back to Jisoo and way she runs across the field- shouting and scoring
"...no"
"You hesitated" Jennie points out
"I mean don't get me wrong Jisoo Kim is hot but she's also self centered and her smirk makes me want to punch her in the face"
"You can't even hurt a bug and yes Jichu is a bit of a prick but she can be nice"
"And how come I have to approach her?"
"Because according to the rumor mill you're the one that has a crush on Jisoo not the other way around"
