I awoke in the early mornings and turned to find Haru still asleep, which was odd considering he always woke up before me, but I was at peace with that too. I wanted him to get a lot of rest, considering everything that happened yesterday....Whatever all of that was.I am certain that by now I have most of you all wondering how on earth I could have been so comfortable in the dark, how I was so okay with not knowing everything that was happening around me. And the honest truth is that I was afriad, there you have it, I Katayi Sitali was a coward, I believed that ignorance was truly bliss and I didn't want to break free from my glass bubble.
I got up from bed and proceeded to go brush my teeth, I put on my house slippers and made my way downstairs to the kitchen where Sora was seated on the kitchen counter while Khondwani made cereal for the two of them.
"Hi." She greeted me with plastic smile, "do you want cornflakes too?"
"No, I'm good don't worry." I reassured her, "do you guys have any plans for today?"
"We're planning to go check out this cat café that Sora's been excited about," Khondwani explained pouring milk into his bowl, then scrunched up his face, "I hate cats."
"I know you do," I responded with a slight laugh.
"But I like Sora Park." He added and she smiled, "and I'd visit a lion den with her if she wanted me to."
