A/N: This is definitely my longest chapter so far. I always keep them over 7k as a parameter for myself, but 15k might be pushing it. Anyway, enjoy!

"Hey, sleeping beauty!" The door abruptly swung open with no warning. Lexa and Clarke, having been wrapped in an embrace with their legs tangled together, abruptly shot up with wide eyes. "Oh, this is too good." Raven chortled, smirking. "Well, now I know why you slept in so late. I mean, I thought you'd give it a day, but I'm impressed, Griffin, really."

Lexa and Clarke quickly pulled apart, both of them blushing furiously. "Raven!" Clarke fumed, unable to suppress the bright red tint on her cheeks. "I- we didn't-"

"I don't want to know." Raven raised her hands, cutting her off. "Just get your ass out of bed so we can get to work. The death wave isn't going to put itself on pause so you can have sex and sleep in." She quipped, still sporting a smug expression.

"We didn't!" Clarke exclaimed exasperatedly. Raven left before Clarke could get another word out, shutting the door behind her. The blonde dropped her head in her hands, dragging them down her face with a groan. "I'm sorry about her, she's insufferable." Lexa laughed, a sound that immediately brought a smile to Clarke's lips. The blonde raised her head, her blush fading, and she met Lexa's sparkling emerald green eyes with her own. "That... that was the best I've slept in months. Years, really." She gave Lexa an immensely grateful look. "Thank you." She breathed out with a smile.

Lexa's smile widened slightly despite her attempts to subdue it. "I am very glad." She paused for a moment in contemplation before she added to her statement. "I do not think I have ever slept better in my life." She said genuinely. Clarke grinned. "Do you feel rested? You look better." Lexa asked her softly, a small smile still gracing her lips as she looked at Clarke endearingly, noting that the bags under her eyes were still present but not as deep and dark.

Clarke nodded, Lexa's heart soaring at the blonde's adorable grin. Clarke eyed the clock just then and her eyes widened slightly in surprise. "Oh. It's past ten already." She said aloud. Her grin then widened, growing in brightness. "I slept for almost five hours without any nightmares." She said with excitement and awe, her blue eyes shining as she turned her head to meet Lexa's again.

They remained like that for a moment before Lexa snapped out of it with a smile. "We should get dressed." She told her, extracting herself reluctantly from the bed. Clarke snapped out of her daze as well, nodding and rising from the bed.

"I'll meet you outside of your door when you're ready." Clarke offered, her expression still light. Lexa nodded and started to move towards the door, but she stopped when Clarke called her name. "Wait." Clarke asked hesitantly, Lexa turning back around to face her with patience. Clarke moved forward then and wrapped Lexa in a hug. "Thank you." She breathed out as Lexa returned the hug eagerly.

"Of course, Clarke. It... last night was... nice." She whispered gently in her ear, sending pleasant shivers down through Clarke's body. They pulled back after a moment, Clarke biting her lip, still grinning. "I will see you in a minute." Lexa told her softly before exiting the room and closing the door behind her.

Lexa was thankful for the fact that no one was in the vicinity and able to see her, because, despite the fact that her room was literally the next one over, she was wearing a silk sleeping gown and it felt sort of like the walk of shame despite having not actually done anything last night. She blushed as she hastily closed her door behind her, biting her lip hard as she thought about what would have actually made it the walk of shame.

She remembered Clarke's warm, smooth skin, the way Clarke licked her lips sometimes and glanced at hers, the flashes of vulnerability and desire in them, the way their bodies had been pressed together, legs a tangled mess when they had woken up, Lexa's head lying against Clarke's chest...
