It's been a while since we were at an award show, so we were over the moon when we were nominated. JYP wanted me to do a solo set, so I decided to sing Euphoria by Jungkook which was written by both of us. This song expresses our love for our fans and is also a song that I wrote for Felix. Jungkook helped me with it and I let him use it in one of their albums because I didn't know what to do with the song at the time.
This song means a lot to me and I'm really excited and happy to sing it tonight. The group will hopefully be really happy once they see this performance because they just think Jungkook wrote it and I had no part in it. Well, STAYs and ARMYs are in for a treat.
The group and I are seated next to ATEEZ and they are just enjoying their time and talking to us. While I sit quietly waiting for the staff to come and get me. The boys know that I have a solo set, but I never told them what I was performing. I'm really excited to see their reactions. I usually sing low notes with Felix even though my voice is higher than his our voices blend together perfectly so that's where Chan put me. I've been working on perfecting my high notes and I've gotten a whole lot better. Even my vocal coach says I have.
Out of the corner of my eye, I see some staff members head this way. They nod in my direction and I get up and follow them backstage. They give me my earpieces and I wait for the announcer to call me to the stage.
"Now for the performance you've all been waiting for. Sam-Hae from Stray Kids," The announcer said.
The room blew up in cheers. I smile and wave to the crowd as I walk on stage. I put my mic on the stand and wait for the music to play.

I was looking at Felix the entire time I sang this song. You could see the tears in his eyes as he stands up and claps along with everyone else. I bow and walk off the stage. Felix was backstage waiting for me. Once he saw me, he pulled me into a hug.
"Did you like it?" I asked.
"Yes, I liked it," He answered."You have such an amazing voice,"
"Thank you," I giggle.
He smiles and kisses my forehead. I lean into his kiss and then put my head on his chest. He wraps his arms around me.
"We should probably head back to our seats," Felix said.
I nod and we head back to our seats and enjoy the rest of the award show. Even though we didn't win anything doesn't mean we still can't enjoy ourselves.
