One month to one year

Manik and Nandini entered Avni's room but didn't find her. Nandini looked around and so did Manik and then they found her sitting in the corner of her balcony. Manik looked at Nandini and Nandini looked at him. They started going to her.

Avni felt their presence but then did not acknowledge it.

Manik sat in front of her and Nandini sat besides her.

"Kiddo" Nandini said and Manik creased her hair.

"Avni please listen to Amma and Baba baby" Manik said and Avni looked at them

"Avni. We are doing this for you" Manik said and looked at Nandini

Nandini was so against telling Avni all this. She didn't want Avni to live her life with fear looming around her.

"Something is happening na" Avni said

"Yes" Manik contemplated about him. He looked at Nandini, she still was against this.

"There is someone..." Manik paused

"Someone is trying to harm you intentionally." Manik said finally and they saw fear in Avnis's eyes

"But Amma and Baba are going to protect you always" Nandini said quickly. Nandini felt Avni hug her.

"Avni you trust na?" Manik asked her and Avni nodded

"Mere vajha se all are in trouble" Avni mumbled

"No" Nandini said quickly "Don't behave like your Baba" Nandini scolded and Manik made a face. "Avni it's not our fault, it's the fault of person who is trying to harm you" Nandini said lovingly "So don't ever say this. And you have your family here who is going to protect you" Nandini assured her and even Manik nodded agreeing Nandini

"I am sorry, mujhe gussa nahi hona tha na" Avni said and Manik kissed her forehead

"We are sorry too. Aap itne acche bacche ho but humne aap ko reason nahi bataya, we just wanted you to live freely" Manik said and Avni nodded as if understanding his point. "Apni Amma ki trah itni understanding behave karna bhi accha nahi hai." Manik said making Nandini smile and Avni chuckle.

Manik looked at Nandini who assured him with his eyes that it's going to be fine.

Manik was talking on his phone with someone and didn't notice Avni hiding in the place between the cupboards of the study. It was Samar who was going to seek them and she thought study would be her perfect place. She had no idea that Manik was going to be there

"What do you mean you can't arrest her?" Manik yelled "Mere beti ki life ka sawal hai, that women tried to kill my daughter and you can't arrest her." Manik kept yelling. Avni was startled and then scared.

"I don't know all that, proves aap ko mil nahi rahe toh main aap ko dila dunga, don't you let go off her. I want that women in custody kal tak" Manik said and hung up.

Avni peeped out to see Cabir, Abhi and Druv with Aliya there with Manik.

"Buddy tu mat tension le, I'll make sure that the women is behind bars till tomorrow morning" Druv assured him

"Haan Manik, now you go, Mukti and Aliya are waiting for you kab se, we toh gave our fitting to them" Cabir said. Manik nodded and left.

"How is he juggling this concert and everything else" Abhi sighed thinking about Manik.

"That's why I am thankful that Nandini is him partner." Druv said "Itna packed up schedule kudka hone ke bawajud, she managed the concert things with Manik's personal assistants" he added
