Manik was descending the stairs when he saw all the Murty's including his wife and except his daughter sitting on the dinning table for breakfast. He was making way to them when his eyes went to the door. His eyes widen seeing the person there.
Arav walked in the house in black jeans, marron turtle neck tshirt and a small black duffel bag on his shoulder. He was still trying to understand when Avni came running down the stairs. From the stairs she saw Arav and ran pass Manik yelling "Alu!"
She ran directly in his arms happily. Nandini turned to see Arav standing at the door and Avni hugging him
Everyone saw Arav's hand slowly wrap around Avni and he closed his eyes hugging her close. Manik and Nandini smiled as others were conducted. Rishab looked curious
Suddenly Avni remembered something and broke the hug and stepped away asking "What are you doing here?" Arav frowned hearing the question
"Was here to meet a friend, thought to meet you too" he said scratching his forehead's corner.
"Oh you are here to meet some friend" she said narrowing her eyes
"Haan" he said nervous
"So early?" Manik asked walking to them seeing through Arav's lies
"Haan actually meat him yesterday. Was going back so socha..."
"YOU ARE HERE SINCE YESTERDAY" Avni asked shutting him ask and Arav suddenly stopped talking
"Kiddo" Manik glared at her
"He is here, atleast invite him for breakfast" he added as everyone now came to the door
"Kyu? Yeh iss ghar ka damad hai jo isse invite karu" Avni said glaring at Arav who looked guilty and somewhere tired
"Avni" Nandini said showing her eyes but she still glared Arav
"Na hi yeh iss ghar ka damad hai na hi mera bestfriend so he is not allowed here. Get lost" she said glaring at him and he looked hurt
"Ok but he is my business partners' son so I can invite him, can't I Appa?" Manik asked Vishnu
"No Thatts no" Avni said and glared at Arav
"Anni..." Arav started but she cut him off saying "I don't wanna talk. Don't Anni me! You planned my brother's date with your sister and I was not a part of it! So don't you dare to..."
"Avni" Nandini warned her and Avni's eyes went sad looking at Arav "Sorry" she said and left to the dinning table
Nalini warmly asked Arav to join them at the breakfast
All saw through the breakfast Arav tried to talk to Avni who avoided him very much.
"I... I should leave" Arav said glancing up at Avni and then at his watch
"Where are you going beta?" Nalini asked
"Ghar. I mean Mumbai" Arav said and Manik and Nandini glanced at each other. Nandini gestured him to Avni and Manik nodded
"Fine. I'll drop you" Manik said and got up saying "Kiddo you wanna come?" he asked and Arav looked at her in anticipation
"Ok" Avni got up wiping her lips
Nandini gave Manik a look and he nodded which was noticed by others except Avni and Arav
"Challo" Manik said and both of them followed him walking besides each other. Avni was not looking at Arav but he kept on glancing at her.
Manik got on passing seat with driver as Avni and Arav sat on back side
"Mujhe office chodo aur Arav ko Avni ke saath airports chod dena. Phir Avni ko vapas Murty Sir ke ghar chodna" he added and Arav looked at Manik awkwardly, knowing what he was doing and Avni was looking out of the window, her hands folded.
