"Where did Vecna go?" I asked, as Nancy shrugged.

"I fired every single round I had, he was on fire and he should have been put down at least. He escaped through the window." Nancy said.

"We thought he fell at first, but when we looked out of the window, he wasn't on the ground. He'd gone." Steve added.

"Will, do you still feel him?" Mike asked.

"Fleetingly, here and there. Not as much as before." Will answered.

"You injured him, that might be why it's faint right now." Dustin surmised.

"It would explain it." I said.

Eddie was sitting beside me, rubbing his temples, his eyes closed.

"You okay dude?" Steve asked him.

"Fuzzy head that's all. Like a dull headache." Eddie complained.

"He's alive." Eleven interjected, suddenly.

"You know?" Nancy asked.

"Yes. Right now, he's hiding. I think he's hiding in a memory and that's why Will can't feel him as much." She said.

"Well if it's the house, that's too obvious." I said.

"No, he isn't there." Eleven answered, before eyeing me carefully, as the lamp I was fixated on next to her, suddenly flickered.

"Your nose is bleeding." She remarked.

"What?" I asked, bringing my hand up to my nose.

She was right, another nosebleed.

She continued to stare at me, seemingly suspicious.

"That's the second one you've had now." Eddie commented.

"Must be from the fall." I suggested, shrugging.

"Must be." Eleven said, in agreement.

She hadn't taken her eyes off me though.

Nancy handed me a tissue from the box on the side and I bundled it under my nose, stemming the bleeding.

"Where do we think he could be laying low?" Steve asked.

"Is there another distinct memory he'd focus on?" Dustin asked.

"Maybe the facility." Jonathan suggested.

"You did banish him to the upside down, there." Mike said to Eleven.

"If that memory was so important, why didn't he hide there first?" I asked.

"He could have gotten to you before now, that way." I added.

"His power - he cultivated it, at the house. He grew it there. There's a lot of anger and darkness there. That's why he went there first." Dustin said.

"It makes sense to have used there as his base." Lucas agreed.

"He knows we know about there though, so he has to have moved." Eddie said, still rubbing his temples.

"I'd move." I said.

"Too predictable to go back there now. I'd want to keep you on your toes." I added.

"Where did Max go, when she hid in a memory?" I asked suddenly, having an epiphany.

"The snowball dance." Eleven answered.

"He's there." I said, with certainty.

"What?" Eddie asked.

"That's why Max hasn't woken up." I said, as it all made sense.
