Interested in traveling and discovering all kinds of cultures and places, Caleb decides to go on an exchange program to Beirut and spend a semester there. He directly surrounds himself with both international students and citizens. A short while into his trip, Caleb is introduced to the lives, the cultures, the traditions and the politics of the place by a friend that he starts spending most of his time with. Caleb becomes influenced by the beautiful soul he met and starts looking at the world in a new way.
