I settled in at home about half past midnight that evening. Is there a feeling beyond elation? The look on Austin's face...
Sage, Alana, Hayleigh, Jess and I had left the bar shortly after our encounter with Austin, much to his chagrin.
I decided to text Johnny around one in the morning, unable to sleep, having no clue if he would even be awake. I can't stop thinking about him. I was eager to tell him what had happened while I was out with the girls.
Me (12:58 AM): Hey you. Johnny (12:59 AM):Hey love, been thinking about you.
My heart was already thumping wildly in my chest.
Me (1:01 AM):I could say the same. Johnny (1:03 AM):How did tonight go? Did you have fun? Me (1:05 AM): Austin showed up.
I braced myself for his response. I expected a text, but in a matter of seconds, my phone was ringing. I picked up immediately to hear Johnny's voice, sounding incredibly distressed.
"Are you okay?" He spoke quickly the moment I answered the phone.
He sounds so worried. "I am perfectly okay. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," I tried my very best to sound reassuring.
