CHAPTER 23.1

JESSICA's POV:

Kyle said that Ysabel moved her hands. So we went immediately to the hospital as soon as we heard the news. It's been a month since that accident and she's still unconscious but good thing is that her condition is improving and she even moved her hand.

The last time we visited her is when they removed all the life support that is connected to her and when she was moved to her room. That's a good thing because we only need to wait for her to wake up.

"Ano nang balita?" tanong agad ni Ernest pagka dating niya dito sa kwarto ni Ysabel

"Apparently, she didn't moved her hand after that day" malungkot na sagot ni Yvon. At halata sa kanyang mukha na nalulungkot siya dahil sa buong akala nila ay magigising na si Ysabel pero after that day ay hindi na muling gumagalaw yung kamay ni Ysabel kahit ilang beses pa siyang kausapin ni Kyle. Their parents allowed Kyle to be in her side dahil alam nilang si Kyle ang reason kung bakit gumalaw ang kamay ni Ysabel and they know that there's a big chance that Kyle can help her wake up.

"That's okay! Atleast sure tayong magigising na siya and maybe any minute now she will wake up" sabi ko nalang para naman mag iba yung mood dito sa kwarto ni Ysabel dahil sa sobrang lungkot ng aura

Andito ang buong tropa ngayon sa hospital dahil sa pinatawag kami ng Daddy nila Yvon. Sabi daw kasi nung doctor kaya daw gumalaw ang kamay ni Ysabel ay dahil sa narinig niya ang boses ni Kyle. They think that there's a big chance that she will wake up when she hear her friends voices.

"But what is the update on her condition?" tanong naman ni Joseph

"Well, the doctor said that there's a big chance that she can hear us even she's still in deep sleep" pag papaliwanag ni Kyle

"Like she's having a dream?" tanong ko kay Kyle kaya tumango siya

"They did some test on her to monitor her condition. Ang sabi kasi nang doctor kapag nagsasalita daw tayo nagkakaroon ng waves yung EEG result niya at ibig sabihin daw nun ay m may brain activity na nangyayari" pag papaliwanag ni Yvon samin

"And the doctor explained to us that she might think she's having a dream when she hear us talking kaya nagkakaroon ng brain activity" sabi naman ni Kyle

"My god! Wala akong naintindihan!!" naiinis na sabi ko kaya naman natawa nalang sila

Wala akong naintindihan sa sinabi nila basta ang alam ko may brain activity nang nagaganap kay Ysabel kasi kadalasan daw kapag comatose yung patient as in walang brain waves or brain activity na nangyayari sa patient kaya nga tinatawag minsan na brain dead. Kaso sa kalagayan ni Ysabel iba kasi may brain activity kaso nga lang tulog pa rin pero atleast nag improve na yung condition niya.

"What Jessica is true! Atleast we all know that she will wake up" masayang sabi ni Yvon kaya ngumiti kaming lahat

Matagal na naming inaantay na magising si Ysabel dahil sobrang namimiss na namin ni Allyssa yung pinaka mabait at caring na bestfriend namin. Kasi sobrang nalokoka na ako dahil sa madami na akong naipon na mga latest chika ko para sa kanya.

"Ysabel, you really need to wake up because we a good news!" sabi ko kay Ysabel habang naka tayo sa tabi ng kama na kinahihigaan niya

"Good news?" nagtatakang tanong ni Joseph sakin

"She's the Top Student!" sagot ko naman

Siya ang Top 1 sa batch namin kahit hindi niya natapos yung exams. Well, in St. Anthony they tally all the grades from prelims to finals and even though Ysabel didn't finish all the examinations, her total average is still the highest among all the students.
