Rome helped me close up the restaurant and he drove me home in comfortable silence .
He parked in front of my house and I was about to get off when he grabbed my hand .
"So you just 'Love em and leave em' I see " he said in teasing tone.
My eyes grew wide and I laughed
"Never thought I would hear those words coming out of your mouth " I said between laughs "No I do not do that I just thought maybe you regret doing that " I said more seriously.
He looked sort of offended and hurt after my last statement and I kind of wished I could take it back.
"Astraea..." he trails off my name again
Damn is it getting hot in here or is it just me?
"Should I kiss you again?" he asks
Should I answer that question?
"Seems like I did not get it right the first time" he adds as he runs his hand through his hair "What makes you think I would regret something so special, huh? The only things I regret is my immature behavior the other night and not doing this sooner" he says and he hoists me from my seat onto his lap and he looked at me letting me see all the raw emotions in his silver eyes .
He held me in a tender embrace .
I wish this moment could last forever but my grandfather decided it was the right time to come out and knock on Rome's car window.
I moved quickly from Rome ,so fast I hit my back against the steering wheel and it beeped loudly.
Way to ruin a moment grandfather
Once we stepped out of the car my grandfather greeted Rome and immediately went back inside, does he know that he is Kali Maa's grandson? I'll have to ask him that.
"Do you wanna come inside ?" I asked Rome
"No not today ,I have some important things to prepare" he said "I will pick you up tomorrow at 6 o'clock in the evening be ready" he smiled
"Why? Where are we going?" I asked honestly confused
He laughed "It's a surprise Astraea ,you just have to be pretty and ready okay?" he said
"Okay" I agreed

Finally alone in my room ,I can think about the events of today.
I cannot help thinking if he kissed me because he likes me or because he wanted to fix the misunderstanding between us ,only one person can know.
In no time I dialed the number of my only friend, she picked up after one ring .
"Is your grandfather dead again?" she asked in a teasing tone
"No he is not ,he probably won't be dying anytime soon" I laughed a little, it is really great to have a friend especially a friend like Nattie.
"I have a question to ask actually" I said my voice lowering a little
"Well ask right away I can't handle curiosity" she said eagerly
So I told her the whole story from the restaurant to my house.
"YOU WHAT? KING ROMEUS BARTLEY KIS-" she screamed through the phone but I cut her off before she could say any further
"Shh Shh ,oh my goodness calm down, yes he did that" I said to her and breathed in a huge amount of air "Do you think he likes me or...?" I asked very unsure.
"Do I think ? Girl I know he likes you ,probably more than the word like. I could bet my life he is thinking about you right I swear" she said very excited "And you said he asked you out on a date tomorrow right ? That is all the proof you need" she added
"I never said it is a date and he didn't say that it is a date too so maybe he just wants to sincerely apologize for his behavior the other night" I said
