Chapter 9: Light and Dusk. The Battle for the Faction

Yus PoV

Before me stood the Pillar of Good and Evil, reformed back into one being with two guns, one for each hand as a confident grin showed on his smug face, the end of my journey in this Faction was about to end, and after this i'll be able to enter the next Faction...was i ready?

Yus: You bet i am

He spun his guns around his hands, glaring with a crazed smile before shouting two words that marked the start of this fight

Mazoku:"LETS DANCE!"

Neither of us took a moment to breath before Mazoku began shooting a barrage of bullets of light and dusk, meanwhile i used End to deflect each bullet that was directed to me in quick but precise moves, i must say though his shots were just as precise each aiming to hit a different part of my body

End:"Mazoku's precision was always deadly, i don't know a single target that he has missed on hitting"

Yus:"He's about to meet one!"

I deflected one last bullet and threw it back at him, Mazoku dodged it by stepping to the side while i took the chance to charge and get closer, engulfing End in flames before i got close enough

Yus:"HELL'S WRATH!" Shouting and hitting the ground with End, a fire pillar emerged from below Mazoku as he quickly sidestepped to dodge it, following with continuous bullets from each gun

Mazoku:"NOT BAD FOR A NEWBIE!" Shouted the Corrupted Pillar laughing himself off confident that one shot must hit me, but i was fast enough to deflect each and every single one of them before they got to me

Yoshika:"This is indeed troublesome, deflecting Mazoku's bullets are an accomplishment by itself but at this pace Yusuru will run out of stamina to keep fighting" She had a point, i couldn't keep playing defensive or i'll just fall to him

Yus:"JUDGEMENT DISK!" Shouting the name of my skill, i threw a disk of light to the barrage of bullets going through all of them and towards Mazoku who didn't expect my move and got the hit, blowing up in a light-elemental explosion

However it didn't stop there, a single bullet came from the cloud of smoke about to take me unaware, but before it got close i instantly sliced it by the half using End as my red eye glowed intensely

Mazoku:"Nice reflexes, i wonder how you deal with nightmares though..."

Once he finished speaking, the area got surrounded in shadows everything being engulfed in a dark void of sorts, no sign of anyone nor anything around leaving me at the defensive

Yoshika:"Mazoku's best skills go around darkness, and one of them has to do with this, he's quick in light but he knows how to sneak in the shadows" It made sense for a dusk type boss...i guess

Yus:"Then i just have to blow this area out..."

Before i could thrust End on the ground, a bullet hit the blade and made me lose concentration, quickly changing for a defensive stance as i got to block many incoming bullets

Yoshika:"It would seem he doesn't want to let you"

Yus:"It would also seem i noticed!"

The barrage stopped a moment after, a laughter from his part filling the air and my ears
