Chapter 9: For the Last Seal. Corrupted, Duskened Fate

Yus' PoV

Aoi:"Good to see Kazuki helped in some way" Said the archer with the box of coins in her hands

We were standing outside of the village, waiting for the other two to arrive

Yus:"Right? With this we could get some actual equipment-"

End:"Are you saying the weapon of the Pillar of Creation is not enough?" Asked End outloud from my hand, letting Aoi hear it too

Yus:"N-no no, i meant armor not weapons! I feel kinda weak without anything to protect my body-"

Spooky:"Why change when you have your own things?"

The magician was standing besides us with her staff in hand, and a bag full of- what i assumed -was food for the travel

Spooky:"A blade isn't stopped by an armor and an armor can at the same time reduce mobility, it's not about the clothes one wears nor about the weapon one holds, it's about how they use their resources at hand" She assured with a smile as the bag fell into some kind of portal and the staff disappeared

Aoi:"She's right you know? You almost beat that Yoshika clone on your own with just your sword after all, and you endured her attacks as well, you have skill which means you don't need of armor!" Followed up the archer with an equally as cheerful smile

I looked at my hands and at End, nodding to myself

Yus:"You're right...who needs an armor when you can just dodge everything and counter when you have the chance, that would do! Thanks gals" End disappeared after my words, satisfied apparently

Spooky:"It's no problem!"

Aoi:"It indeed wasn't. Does anyone know where Yuika is, by the way?" Asked Aoi with curiosity, i was also curious on wherever she could be i must say

Spooky:"That's a really good question...maybe she's still buying potions"

We turned to the village from the gate, not seeing any signs of the foxgirl

Aoi:"So what's the plan now, leader?" She asked to me as her bow appeared on her hands

Yus:"Easy enough...we'll break the last seal, and get Yoshika out of corruption"

Aoi & Spooky:"Hai!"

Timeskip

After Yuika had arrived we left in the direction the map was telling us, following the marks made by Dusk to arrive there

Yus:"I was never the best with maps..."

Spooky:"Didn't you have those GPS to get to your destination? Isn't it the same?" Asked Spooky as she peeked from my side to see the map

Yuika:"Oh you see, every time he used his phone's GPS he ended up lost either ways, never got to where he wanted without asking for help" Answered Yuika peeking from my other side

Aoi:"Even with a GPS? Pfft well that's lame!..what's a GPS?" Wondered Aoi peeking from Spooky's side

Yus:"Would you all please back away? I can't focus..."

Aoi yoinked the map from me and looked at it

Aoi:"We're going in the right direction, don't worry you all, we should get there soon enough" She assured as she showed the map

Spooky:"Maybe he's not so lame after all"

Aoi:"Just a bit, maybe it was luck so he could still be lame at this"
