PINAGMASDAN ko ang cieling nitong kwarto ko. Maganda siya, hindi mo makikitaan ng ano mang dumi. Binibilang ko din kung ilang pattern ang makikita ko.

Pero alam kong dini-distract ko lang ang sarili ko. Nakita ko na si Daddy kanina. Baka ay maisipan nito na puntahan ako at kausapin ako tungkol sa mga nangyari kahapon ng umaga.

Hindi ko pa naman siya kilala ng masyado. Ilang buwan pa lang kaming nagkakakilala. Hindi ko pa gamay ang mga kilos niya at ganoon din siya sa akin. I don't want jump into conclusions but, seeing that he is a knight and leads one of the strongest knight group in the Empire, he was bound to be strict.

He will likely reprimand me, punish me, heck, he can even exile me, or somewhere along those lines.

I shivered at the thought. Well, I can probably survive out here if I have proper knowledge about this world. Pero wala. Sa loob ng ilang taon kong pamumuhay sa mundong ito, never pa akong nakalabas sa gate.

Ang alam ko lang sa tungkol sa labas ay ang mga itinuro sa akin ni Lady Minerva. The common sense of nobles.

Iba naman kasi ang common sense ng sa ordinaryong at ang common sense ng mga nobles. Alam ko ito sa tuwing makikita ni Sammy kung ano ang itinuturo sa akin ni Lady Minerva ay napapangiwi ito. An indication that what the tutor thought normal ay hindi naman pala normal sa karamihan.

So, I doubt kung makaka-survive ba ako sa labas ng gate ng Grand Duchy Estate.

I shrugged the thought off at saka gumulong-gulong sa kama. Hahaayy. . . Nakaka-bored na naman.

Hindi ko pa nakikita si Keneally ngayong araw na ito? Saan na naman ba yun nagli-ligalig? Palagi na lang wala.

I heard a soft thud coming from the vanity table. Nilingon ko ito at nandoon si Keneally. Nakahiga na siya sa lamesa habang pinagmamasdan ako. Saan ba siya galing?

"Where did you go?"

Hindi sumagot at tinitigan lang ako. Ano bang problema niya? Ang creepy, ha?

"Keneally?"

She stood up with her four limbs and came down. Umakyat siya sa kama ko at nahiga sa tabi ko.

"I went out looking for the familiar that was supposed to be with the day you were born."

Takang tiningnan ko naman siya. "Familiars? As in Bonds?"

Familiars or Bonds are beings that is bonded to a person through magic. They serves as a friend, family, companion in life, or most of the time, some see them as means for combat power.

Iyan ang sabi Headmaster Arthur. Familiars, in olden times where beings that humans and Mana User revered. They were seen as beings closest to the Gods. But as time passed and Bonding Ceremony became somewhat common, Familiars also became common. Now, mana users treat them as tools, a thing existed to make ends meet.

And she is saying that I have them? Even without doing the Bonding Ceremony? That seemed impossible to me.

"Yes. They were supposed to be with you the moment you changed bodies. That was the reason I was caught off guard when they were not beside you."

I was taken a back. So, she was telling the truth. "But I did not perform the Bonding Ceremony yet?"

She sighed at naglakad papunta sa akin. "Well, you were already bonded to each other. The difference between you and normal Mana Users is that your familiars are not bonded to your mana but to your soul."
