Stormi's pov

I re-tie my apron and check my hair in the mirror. Whoever is hosting this catering event is extremely meticulous. I was going to try to get out of this event after I saw the list of rules amd requirements but once I saw how much they are paying, I kept my shift.

All the women have to wear their hair in french braided pigtails. Our makeup has to be fully done: fake eyelashes, eyeshadow, contour, foundation, the whole nine yards plus our nails had to be painted black matching our full black uniforms. No men server's, cooks, or bartenders were allowed to be here tonight. Absolutely not men allowed at all unless you're apart of whatever tonight's event it.

The tables had to be positioned in a straight line, two on each row in a straight line down the room and the tables had to be ten feet apart from each table so nobody bumps into someone. They wanted black table cloths even though we only do white or baby blue and rose candles at each table with black napkins.

They gave us a huge list of food that they wanted and gave us the recipes to make them. We had to make regular meals then gluten free, lactose free and nut free. They gave us a list of only four types of very expensive alcohol and the most ridiculous request of all - absolutely NO and I repeat NO looking at any of the attendees straight in the eyes. Looking someone in the eye will result in termination with no pay for tonight's evening. We also have to wear ear phones so we don't hear anything that they talk about and my playlist from middle on my ipod isn't as great as my playlist on my phone but, we had to turn off our phones and we aren't allowed on them until after we leave for the night so let's go camp, rock.

They had guards with assault rifles scooping the place out early this morning and they did extensive background checks on all the employees. They pat searched us and checked all our bags we brought along with us earlier. If you go outside for a break, they watch you and re-search you when you come back in.

I watch through the kitchen window as all the guest start arriving. They are all dressed to nice. The men are in suits and they women are all wearing expensive dresses. They are all wearing very expensive jewelry and almost all of the men have tattoos.

"Stormi, get the appetizers out!" Angie yells at the same time her phone starts going off followed by three more.

I put the expensive smelly green stuff on the crackers before I put it on my tray. I stick in my headphone and turn it all the way up. The other waitresses and I look at each other and smile before we walk out and start to make our way around the room.

After an hour of passing out several different appetizers and champagne,  I grab the main courses. The courses very by the name of the table. Some are steaks, others are salmon, chicken, salads and more.

On my third trip of dropping off food, a man grabbed ahold of my arm and stopped me from moving. His grip was hard and his nails are digging into my skin. I stood still and didn't look his way as I knew the rule. I feel his fingers grab my headphone out of my ear.

"What is your name?" He said harshly.

I clear my throat as I control my anger rising. "Stormi." I resist from touching my throbbing ear from him yanking it out.

"Last name?"

"Madden. If I did something to offend you, I apologize sir." I said in my most polite voice.

He chuckles. "Look at me."

I slowly lift my eyes off the floor and gaze into his chocolate brown eyes. His eyes go wild looking all around my face before a small smile grows on his lips.

He nodded and handed me my headphone back before letting go of my arm. I watch as he sat down and pulled out his phone. I felt my cheeks flush as I practically ran back to the kitchen. I take a deep breath before I grab the last bit of meals to pass out. I couldn't help but look over to the table where the man asked me about my childhood. I watch as he took out his phone and took a picture.

My eyes widen as I quickly snap my head away and headed back towards the kitchen.

After I did dishes and cleaned up the dinner mess, I smile as I watch the clock struck ten. My ten hours are over and I can finally go home.

I clocked out and thank my boss for the great night.

"You sure you don't want to stay? They are quite the fun crowd, huh?" Julie said walking in.

I let out a little fake laugh and shook my head. "I am exhausted and I have to go to my second job at six in the morning."

She nodded and wished me a goodnight. I smiled and grabbed my things. "Have fun with the party house."

I went out the backdoor and rushed to my car. I let out a huge sigh of relief as I started my car and drove to my apartment.

This nightmare of a event is finally over..
