Your name

I've heard much about Mikasa Ackerman, however none of the things I've been told match up to her actual personality, maybe she just doesn't like me. Oh well.

We pull up to the school we'll spend our next 4-10 years at, Paradise Collage. The name's misleading, nothing about this collage is 'paradise' it's hell, all of it. I turn the music down and unlock the car, I walk out and shield my eyes as the sun shines brightly into them, not helping my already softly pounding head.

I push the feeling away and open Mikasa's door. My daddy always taught me to open the door for a pretty lady, my mother taught me to always help a pretty lady. I'm lying, my mother didn't teach me shit, neither did my daddy. I learned everything from trial and error.

"Thank you." Mikasa smiles and walks past me, her scent feeling familiar, it's a smell of roses and champagne. A very nice combo. "You're welcome." I respond with and walk behind her, the car locks. She opens the door to the school and we glance at each other then at the mess in front of us.

Kids making out in the cold, yellow lit, big, full, hallways of Paradise. "Standin' here ain't gon' do nothing good for us. Let's get our schedules and dorm stuff." I take her hand and walk to the front desk.

She chuckles softly and wraps her warm fingers around mine. "I like a woman in control." She glances at me. "Relax, Ms.Ackerman, I prefer to know my women before I fuck 'em." I glance at her, her lips curl into a sly smirk as we walk in front of the wooden desk. "Hello." The lady begins.

"Good morning." We both chime, the contrast in our voices noticeable. "You're here for your dorms and classes?" The lady asks, pushing up her glasses. "Yes ma'am." I say, "Can I get your names?" She questions. "(Your name), (Last name)" I say, "Mikasa Ackerman." Mikasa says,

She hums and begins to type away at her computer. "Zoë, Hange Zoë." She shoots us a wink, I feel my stomach swarm with butterflies as she looks back at her computer. "Ah! Here we are, you guys will share a dorm, as well as your classes. Your dorm number is 333." She hands us some papers.

"Thank you. Have a good day." Mikasa and I say then walk back to the car. "She's hot." Mikasa fans herself off. "Welp if she young enough." I shrug, "She can smash." Mikasa sighs, looking in a daydreaming state. I laugh as the music starts to swarm around the car.

Filling the emptiness that followed my laugh. I pull out of the parking lot and to our dorm. "Do we need to go get anything?" I question, she hums then looks at me through her mirror, I look at her through mine. Her soft pale face, rosy cheeks, red, soft lips look so breathtaking. Her gray eyes peer into mine.

"I don't think so but we would rather be safe than sorry, right?" She questions, raising one of her eyebrows. "Right." I respond with and look ahead back at the road.

The dorm appears closer and closer, something in me makes me stop the car. Apparently, Mikasa felt the same way. "Oh hell no." We say in unison. The sound of shouting follows our words.

I put the car in reverse, swing my arm around Mikasa's chair to support my body as I slam my foot on the gas pedal, speeding backwards. The wind blowing my clothes. I place both hands on the steering wheel and quickly turn it as far to the let as it can go, causing a screeching sound to abrupt from the car.

"What the hell?" I mutter, laughing. "Okay, Ms.Fast and furious." Mikasa chuckles, not helping my laughter. I hold my stomach, trying to ease the pain that's comes from my laughter. "I've never seen that good of a driver in all of my 18 years of living." She places her hand over mine.

"You're 18?" I question, my laugh attack stopping. "Yeah.. How old are you?" She questions, combing a hand through her hair. "17." I shift gears and slowly drive past the dorm. "Say you swear." She mutters, "I swear." I place my right hand over my chest. "You wanna see my ID?" I ask as we stop.

She hums as I turn the music up. "You're an early birthday?" She asks, "Yep." I smile, she raises her eyebrows and we look at each other. The music blasting in the background.

"You know what, we should go unpack then go to the store later. I wanna show you around." Mikasa says, "How did you know that I'm not from here?" I ask, "Your ID and I know your brother. Zade right? He's lightskin, waves, braces, nice smile, brown eyes?" She describes my little brother perfectly.

I hum and roll the windows up as we pull into the parking lot of the garage. "Yeah." I speak and unlock the doors. I pop the truck of my car and walk to it. "Hey, (your name!)" A cherry voice says behind me. Armin? "Armin Arlert?" I question.

He jumps into my arms and laughs. "Yep!" He smiles brightly. "Hey Mikasa!" He waves to the beautiful woman that stands next to me.

She waves and we walk back to the car so we can get the things that we need for our dormitory. Something about being so close to Mikasa makes me feel an intense feeling of deja vu. I feel like I've met her before and we were close.
