Mumbo watched from a distance as Jimmy stood anxiously on top of the trap door. he was gone for a second, A SECOND . He walked over to the rest of the southerners debating, "Listen, Well take turns I'll give you this book martyn and afterwards we'll see what has the most votes," Grian explained exceptionally well, "o- Mumbo welcome back!" Impulse grinned despite the situation,

"Well whats going on here," mumbo tensed as Martyn gave him a sharp glance- "Tim here thinks we're going to welcome him back with open arms!" Grian scoffed, impulse shaking his head. He was pretty sure he missed a step here- Grian decided not to elaborate - on both why Jimmy was not allowed nor why he was suddenly yellow - and instead he scribbled something down on the paper and passed the book to Martyn, "Martyn- listen, I know we're not on good terms but -" "Sh no swaying the vote sir, " impulse interrupted - from his talk with Grian and Martyn before, he was really saving Jimmy breath- crossing his arms, Martyn taking the opportunity to write his answer and pass the book to impulse.

Mumbo observed the way Grian and Martyn nodded in agreement - they weren't seriously going to kick him out, right? - "Well, I guess mumbo's the last one, " he stated more sadly than intended as he scratched his answer, impulse giving the book to mumbo eagerly. He nearly just got back, and now all the pressure was on him. - not to mention he was on good terms with Jimmy, - He quickly looked up, Jim was looking right back at him

- pleading eyes really, although he seemed a bit scared, if mumbo knew anything about the other it certainly wasn't about the small burns he would receive from the campfire. -

Mumbo felt the guilt accumulating as he looked back at the book, flipping back to the answers the others gave.

His lip quivered as the realization that his vote was worthless hit him. He inhaled quickly, anxiously looking around - Grian and martyn both wearing knowing smirks, Impulse the only one seeming to have remorse avoiding mumbos gaze. - There was no point in arguing, there was no point in trying. Mumbo hesitantly signed his answer, giving the book back to Grian.

Grian wish he could say he felt bad for swaying the vote, he gave a innocent laugh and opened the book,
"Page one is....out ." He stated plainly, Jimmy held his arm up to cover his face as he quietly sobbed, Mumbo felt himself tear up - he didn't know what was happening, he spent most of today in the mines!- "Page two... also a out! Poor Tim, things arent looking in your favor," the fake sympathy in his voice was sickening,

"You- guys wouldnt vote me out like this right!? After everything, right?" (That's what happens when your sus..) Impulse hung his head - something wasn't adding up- "Tsk-tsk, it seems page three says out too, I'm sorry Tim but that's three votes-" Grian walked to the trap door, Jimmy gasped as he fell into the fire, "No!" He cried quickly rushing off the fire and desperately shaking off the flames. - sure it hurt, but betrayal was far worse-

The four stood in silence for a moment, watching as Jimmy fell to his knees. nobody dared to speak, simply letting their old friend unravel infront of them.

Finally martyn spoke with a sigh, "Well bud, it was nice knowing you but you got to leave," he placed a hand on Jimmy's shoulder - Jimmy was quick to push his hand away and stand up, "You know what, gladly! Oh and," Jimmy pulled the spyglass in Martyns offhand away from him, tossing it into the campfire. Mumbo gasped, looking over at impulse for a reaction but it seemed he managed to sneak away. "OH- well go on then! Don't even think about coming back alright!" Martyn shouted as Jimmy pushed himself over the stone blocks.

Mumbo couldn't process what had happened, he simply looked at grian shocked who- smiled. Mumbo flinched as Grian unexpectedly pulled him into a hug, "Mumbo! Im yellow now!" Mumbo pushed away from him - "w- Huh?! Your just going to move on after... whatever this was!" Grian looked offended, "Didnt impulse tell you, he's a traitor, and besides- we all wanted him gone, " something about the look in his eyes told mumbo it wasn't something he got to disagree with, He silently turned his back to the two. "I'm.... I'll be right back,"

He didn't pay attention to Martyn and Grians mumbling, quickly walking to his house and closing the door behind him. He didn't feel safe here anymore, not when his teammates would so eagerly exile someone, it was only a matter of time before the alliance crumbled and mumbo was not sticking around to watch it. Mumbo began to sort through his chest - taking things he needed or atleast didn't need them having- "ehhh mumbo you home?" Mumbo jumped, sighing in relief as he realized it was impulse, "Yeah.. yeah come in," mumbo composed himself as he closed the chest,

"I think we should talk-" mumbo tightened his grip on the edge of the chest, staring down at his hands. "Ha- you think?" He failed to mask the sadness, Impulse went quiet for a moment, "just- let's go somewhere a bit more secluded." Impulse held out his hand, mumbo wiped his tears away before grabbing his hand, as soon as he did impulse pulled them into a crouch, "Listen, if they ask, were getting enchanted," - odd. Normally you don't need an excuse for talking, - mumbo nodded, Impulse leading him out of the south towers.

It was strange really, the two walked in a loud silence, "I think we're far en-"

"Oh my goodness what!" Mumbo yelled, "SHH- shh, mumbo I didn't want to vote Jimmy out okay- I... they had a plan long before we even knew about any of this-" Impulse quickly rambled holding both of mumbos shoulders, "I don't think the souther lands will be a thing much longer- If things go south I want you to know I have your back alright,"

Mumbo felt dizzy from how much happened so quickly, "Okay..." he looked around briefly, "Impulse I think im going to leave," he looked away, Impulse paused... "Here," he mumbled handing mumbo blaze rods and a few diamonds, "You were an awesome alliance, " Impulse smiled, this felt.. genuine. Mumbo frowned, knowing both martyn and grian were traitors. his own husband.

"You don't think... you think they plan on taking us out?" Mumbo asked, Impulse leaned against one of the nearby trees, "Im going to be honest, I think it's going to happen eventually - But your yellow, I'll probably be next. If we- you, stay any longer this alliance will be your last, " impulse was straight forward - he couldnt back from the alliance if he wanted to, unfortunately his hands were tied, straight to the fence that was the southlands. -

"We could both go, start a new alliance, build the server up instead of tearing it down, " the heat of the moment was getting to mumbos head, "I really can't mumbo, I made a - deal - awhile ago, " Impulse gave a nervous laugh,

The two were interrupted by voices nearby,

"Aye aye- back up, how can we be sure your not the boogeyman-"
