"But-" she looked to see her dad going into a cupboard and brought out some weapons
"Mama what's happening?"

"You'll find out one day. But you need to promise me Hazel"

"I promise" she whispered. Her mom pressed a kiss to her head and ushered her daughter up the stairs who then followed her moms instructions

It was seconds after when she head the screams of her mother and Hazel did the best to tune it out but her attempts were futile as her fathers screams reached her ears. She cried silent tears trying not to make a noise

'I promised' she said to herself
'I promised I wouldn't leave'

It wasn't that long before the screams died down and Hazel waited a few seconds before she got up out of the closet, she walked over to the window and saw some people standing outside

But what she didn't understand was that the first minute they were there and the next they were gone though she could still see them slightly running just a inhuman speed

Once they were out of sight she turned to the hallway and made her way downstairs where she then saw her parents laying on the floor. small pools of blood surrounded their bodies and their eyes stayed lifeless and latched on the ceiling

"MAMA! PAPA!"

Hazel woke up with a scream, thankfully her uncle wasn't there to hear it and wake up. her hand clutched her chest in panic and she looked around trying to piece together her surroundings, sighing in relief when she realised she was in her bed

She looked over to her bedside table to check the time, the number shining a crimson red

She grimaced as she looked down at her bedsheets noticing they were soaking wet with her cold sweat so she got up, moved over to her drawers and changed her bed covers with new ones

Once that was done she went into the shower and cleaned herself off of all of her sweat before she went back into bed trying to get some more sleep before school

She sighed and closed her eyes though she quickly opened them again as she was met with the sight of her dead parents. The nightmares were somewhat common and had been since they had happened 3 years ago. It wasn't new to her but having to see them dead over and over again wasn't a good feeling

Despite not being able to sleep able to sleep after her nightmare she still unbuckled her seatbelt with a smile on her face

She exited the truck and bobbed her head along to the song she was thinking about

You da one that I think about always" she sung out loud and Mike and Tyler looked to each other with a smile

"You are the one, so I make sure I'll behave" the 2 boys added walking over to her. She laughed as they all sang the last bits, their voices going significantly higher as they got into it

My love is your love, your love is mine!" Their friends all laughed at them, joining them and they laughed together

"I knew you liked the song!"

"Its you're fault!"

"Rihanna huh?" Jasper questioned with a smile, Hazel turned to her partner embarrassed

"You heard that?" He laughed nodding

"I think everyone in the parking lot heard it" Hazel shook her head with a smile
"You're singing is amazing once you listen past the screams of Mike and Tyler" a bubble of laughter shot out from Hazel, they had been shouting pretty loud as they sang

"Thanks" he had been thinking about it for a while, and he just needed to get over it and say

"Do you want to sit with me and my family for lunch?" She thought about it for a moment, biting her lip

"I wouldn't want to intrude" Jasper shook his head immediately

"You wouldn't be. Alice is very exited to meet you. As well as Michael. You've already met Emmett and Rosalie though" she nodded slowly

"Okay, I'll see you there"

Jasper walked with Hazel over to their table and as Alice saw the pair approach them she got out of her seat and hugged the other girl

"I'm Alice. It's good to finally meet you"

"You're making her uncomfortable Alice" she smiled and pulled away but Hazel just smiled back. She didn't mind the hug from the girl
"See we're friends already" Hazel laughed and sat down on an empty seat beside Jasper

"I'm Michael" the guy that was with Alice spoke

"Its nice to meet you both" Hazel turned to Emmett, her eyebrows furrowed
"I don't think I've met you. What's your name?... Noah?" Emmett huffed and Hazel just sat triumphantly in her seat whilst everyone else laughed at them
"It's nice to see you again Rosalie" Hazel said to the girl seen as she was the only one she hadn't spoke with today and Rosalie smiled back. Rosalie didn't mind Hazel, none of them did which they found weird at first but they liked having her around so it clouded all their concenrn

"We should totally go shopping some time. I was driving past Seattle and saw some really nice things. Rosalie?" Rosalie nodded with a shrug and slice then turned to Hazel

"Yeah I don't mind, just message me whenever"

"Great!"
