Chapter 1

IT WAS LIKE CLOCKWORK. AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK HAZEL WOULD BE LATE TO CLASS FOR NO OTHER reason than she didn't wake up to her alarm. And that's as the truth, but everyone couldn't help but find the situation amusing

Angela looked from her seat out of the window as she saw hazel pull up in her usual vehicle with her uncle who dropped her off every day

"She's here" everyone got up out of their seats and rushed over to the window to see

The parking lot was empty as they pulled up to the school as everyone was already in their classes waiting for the lessons to begin

She quickly unbuckled her seat belt and jumped out of the slick black car, the male on the drivers seat did the same and went to the trunk of the car, he pulled out a school bag

"Catch!" She held her hand out and caught it effortlessly as she tied her laces before throwing it on her back. The male took a glance at his watch

"30 seconds till the bell" her eyes widened in shock before she broke of into a sprint and ran into the building. The class' eyes watched her as she disappeared inside the school and made their way back to their seats to see if she would arrived in time. She ran through the empty hallways and then up the stairs before she continued, sprinting to the opposite side of the school which is where her mathematics lesson was

She flung the door open and got in the door, her hands on her knees as she took deep breaths. She wasn't really that tired but she felt the need for the extra oxygen

RINGGG

The bell went off and everyone clapped and cheered in shock as she made it in time, the teacher now being unable to put her on a detention for being late since she technically wasn't

The cheers from the students were exceptionally loud, so loud in fact that the other vampires in the school all heard it, Edward in particular zoned in on the thoughts from one of the students and amusement shone in his eyes as he got the picture of what had happened
