"We blame Jeon fucking Somi for cheating so now we have a paranoid Jisoo" Jennie states, "Thank god there's alcohol"

"Why is everyone looking at us weirdly?" Chaeyoung asks as they walk further into the art gallery
"I don't know - maybe because you look like a fucking snack in that dress. Great job on that by the way" Lisa replies unbothered by the weird stares they were getting
Jennie Kim suddenly appeared in front of the two showing her phone to the two who looked dumbfounded, "It's because of this"
"What's that?" Chaeyoung asks, she didn't quite get the picture
"It's an article published when Jeon Somi - my cousin's ex - cheated on her" Jennie looks at Lisa, "with her bestfriend" she adds promptly
"But were not-" Lisa tried but the sharp look from Jennie made her shut up
"I know but does it matter now? Everyone already took one look and decided that is where this-" Jennie points at the two, "-is going"
Both Chaeyoung and Lisa was too stunned to speak - did they just create the biggest gossip?
"I gotta say, Manoban. Well played - you just chose the wrong piece to get the lead. I guess the news didn't quite reach the land down under"
Jennie smirks, quite proud of her word play - yes, she was worried about her cousin but she can't let Manoban thinks she's winning in their little game.
Lisa had retreated to the bar because - fuck. While Chaeyoung desperately searched for Jisoo in the crowd
Eventually she finds her out in the back, leaning against a car with a cigarette in hand
"I didn't know you smoke" Chaeyoung mentally slaps her forehead
"There's a lot of things you don't know about me" Jisoo replied, cold and calculated
"Are you angry?" Chaeyoung asks
"Am I angry? Do I have the right to be?" Jisoo returns, "A notice would have been fucking nice though" Jisoo threw the rest of the cigarette on the ground and smushed it with her Louboutin heels
"Go back inside" Jisoo commands
"Why?"
"Because I'm going inside and this isn't some sort of drama where I'm an asshole that left you out on a dark alley by yourself - so get back inside"

Jisoo knew as soon as the news hit the tabloids her parents will be hounding her again.
And she was right because two minutes before she entered her office her mom and dad entered as well slamming a copy of the newspaper on her table
"Care to explain what the hell this is? I thought you two were exclusive" her mom seethed
"Mom" Jisoo tries her best to be calm but even she was on the last straw of her patience, "we're not exclusive and no, they're not dating - they're friends"
