"Are... are you okay Sonic?"
Tails hesitantly asked the sad hedgehog, putting a hand on his arm.
He sighed and nodded, picking up the map.
"According to the map, it says we have to go to Siberia."
Sonic took a ring out and closed his eyes for a second, then threw it.
The ring enlarged and opened a portal, showing pine trees and snow.
Sonic smiled, then turned to Tails.
"You ready to go?"
Tails started fearfully.
"Wait, me too? I'm not a field girl! I'm the geeky weirdo, I'm not..."
She looked down shamefully.
"I'm too afraid."
Sonic smiled gently.
"You saved my life Tails. I need you by my side."
He held out his hand.
"I promise I'll keep you safe. I won't let anything happen to you."
Tails looked at his reassuring smile, then his outstretched hand.
She was scared, but she trusted his word.
Maybe this was a bad idea...
But her hero needed her help.
She couldn't let him down.
Mustering up all her courage, she took his hand and did her best to smile bravely.
"Okay. I'm in. Lead the way Sonic."
What do ya think, hmm?
Cute, isn't she?
Shy Tails is my absolute favorite.
But Excited Tails is a very close second.
Anyway, you know the drill!
