I wake not too long after. Severus lightly nudging my shoulder. I yawn, and rub my eyes.
"We're here."
He says quietly.
"We have a tiny bit of a walk but it's not far. Don't worry about the bags."
Says Severus as he climbs out of the car. As I reach for my handle, the door opens, Severus on the other side, holding it open for me.
I climb out, my feet touching soft and slightly cold grass. I don't see much due to how late and dark it is.
"Look."
Severus whispers in my ear, turning me around.
There, by the sea, sits a cabin.
Lanterns light a passage way, we follow it until we arrive at the door. The sound of the waves hitting the shore calms my still anxious nerves. Before slipping inside I look to the sky, it's so wide. Never ending on either side. Seeing constellations and possible planets all around.
Severus' hand is placed in the small of my back, guiding me into the cozy building.
The sound of a fire crackling is the first thing I hear. A couch, with 2 small arm chairs fill the living room. The walls full of books and potted plants, some long vines falling down the sides of the shelves. The kitchen is to the right, the smell of pumpkins lingers. Knowing Severus, while I was distracted with the stars, probably flicked his wand and prepared a treat. There's a bathroom in the space below the stairs, up them must be the bedroom.
Severus stands beside me, guiding me from room to room, until we reach our room.
A large queen sized bed sits in the middle, small bed side tables sit on both the left and right side. A dresser was placed below the large window against the wall, parallel to the bed. Another, larger bathroom is right across the hall. Shelves of different lengths line the walls, filled with more books. I can't help but gaze at all the things he must of done for me. For us.
"Are you tired?"
Asks Severus, burying his face in my hair, that's now loose and flowing down my back.
"No."
I reply back, shyly.
"Good. I'm going to finish something in the kitchen. I'll allow you some time."
He speaks, sounding quite seductive.
With that, he's gone. Apparated downstairs to the kitchen to finish what he has planned.
I bolt to my suitcase, everything being brought up before I stepped foot in here.
I grab my toiletry bag first, heading right to the bathroom. I start with my hair, giving it another decent brush through. After that, I brush my teeth. Once, then twice. A third time just for good measure. I know my nerves are in over drive, but in the best way possible. Knowing what's to come. I already shaved this morning so I know that won't be an issue. Sighing in relief knowing I have one less thing to worry about.
Back in the bedroom, I'm searching my suitcase for something comfortable, yet alluring. I find my black lace cami. The dress comes to a stop in the middle of my thighs. I slip into the lace and mesh robe after, tying a bow to keep it securely on my body.
Severus must of figured out that I was ready, done doing what I needed and appeared at the top of the stairs. Butter-beers and pumpkin pasties in hand. I watch as he doesn't say anything. He puts the food and drinks down on the dresser, approaching me then. His eyes don't move from my face, keeping eye contact until he's right in front of me. One hand comes up and caresses my cheek.
"You're so...beautiful."
He says.
His other hand now sitting on my hip. Electricity spreads across my body at his touch.
"Just because it's our wedding night, doesn't mean we have to rush into this, if you're not ready."
He continues, his voice now barely a whisper.
"I've been waiting for this for a long time Severus."
I whisper back, my confidence now taking over.
At that, his lips find mine. His hand holding my face as close to his as physically possible. His other hand traveling around my body, gently and excitedly. I find myself unbuttoning his top, just as eager as him.
We fall back into the mattress, it's soft fabric and material making for a very cushioned and padded landing.
He hasn't pulled his lips away, even as we were falling back. Severus is hovering above me, undoing the bow of my gown.
"I'll be careful, I promise. If it's too much, please tell me."
Severus says, pulling away from our heated kiss, resting his forehead against mine.
"I trust you. I know you won't hurt me."
I tell him, giving him a reassuring smile. This I know deep in my heart, I've always known that he'd never hurt me, especially in the most intimate of moments. My heart thuds against my chest, goosebumps lingering in the places his hands have touched, an electric feeling between my legs where he's going to be.
With my consent, his lips move from my mouth, down my neck, and all over my body.
I melt beneath him, my hands find themselves gripping his hair and leaving scratches on his back from the pleasure. Our bodies merging into each other's, becoming one in this moment.
