L- Alright. Let's hear the last did you know fact from Adam. Adam, would you tell us why the Batman show ended?
A- The best way to answer that question, Levi, is finances. Batgirl was added at first because the show was not making money.
L- I see.
A- And when the third season ended, the network was making less money. So they thought they'd cut the budget by eliminating Chief O'Hara and Robin.
L- But then Batman wouldn't have a sidekick.
A- That's why they decided Batgirl would become Batman's official sidekick.
L- But that didn't happen.
A- Right. William Dozier and I both refused. Mostly because I just couldn't let Burt go.
L- Good. I don't like the idea of Batman without Robin.
