2 - impressions

You instantly threw your blazer over your face in a lousy attempt to hide yourself whereas Imogen remained neutral and scribbled in her notepad. You peeked out through a gap as you watched them all stop infront of you both.
'Hey, Imogen, what we drawing today?'  One of them said, peeking at her notebook.
'Hey, Jungkook, nothing really just random stuff'  She replied, smiling at him.

Still observing, you noticed Yoongi staring at you once again.
'What's up with Y/N?'  He asked, pointing at you. This only made you more nervous for some reason.
'Probably asleep or something'  Imogen casually replied, not looking up once.
Suddenly, sunlight flooded your vision as Yoongi ripped the blazer from your face.
'Well then, rise and shine then'  He laughed, putting the blazer down.
Nervously, all you could do was giggle back.

'So, why are you all here anyways?'  Imogen asked, finally looking at them.
You read all of their nametags as quickly as you could just so you knew what to call them if it was necessary.
'Just wondering if you two wanted to sit with us in the canteen?'  Jin asked.
'You aren't gonna throw one of those pranks on us like you did to Maycee?'  Imogen scoffed.
'Nah, she deserved it'  Jimin laughed.
'Think of this as a peace offering, especially because Y/N here is new'  Yoongi added, smiling at you.
You slowly smiled back, staring deep into those beautiful eyes and those-

Immediately, you snapped out of it and just looked away, shocked by your ability to fall for someone you have only known for an hour or so.
'Alright, see you two then'  Namjoon said.
They then all walked off into the school.
'What was that all about?'  You asked Imogen.
'I'm just as confused as you are'  She replied.
'So, do we?'  You said.
'We can give it a shot?'  Imogen responded.

It was science and time was passing by extremely slowly, all you could think about was sitting with them in the canteen, what a random offer. But you didn't want to decline it either, so you just went with the flow. Finally after an eternity, the bell finally rung. Luckily, Hoseok from the gang was in your class and he came up to you.
'Hello, Y/N! I guess since we are all sitting together, we might as well walk to the canteen together?'  He asked in a very positive manner.
'I agree!'  You replied, trying to match his energy.

You both advanced out of the door together and walked through the corridor. You felt like a celebrity as people made way for you two without being asked.
'I'm not sure why, they just do it'  Hoseok mumbled, looking around at everyone.
'Better then shoving past everyone though.'  You commented.
He chuckled at this and then pointed the way to the canteen. As you two walked, you couldn't help but notice the amount of distasteful looks some girls gave you. They really were going mad over these lot.

Finally you arrived and Imogen as well as the boys were all already sat down. She waved and yelled for you to come over. As Hoseok sat down, you stood behind Imogen.
'Sorry, they really insisted on giving you that seat'  She laughed whilst pointing to the empty seat on the table.
And just your luck, it happened to be right next to Yoongi. Not wanting to seem rude, you just politely went over and sat next to him.
'Must feel weird to have people make way for you in a school corridor, huh?'  Yoongi chuckled.
'I guess so..'  You responded shyly.

'Agh, stop being so shy, Y/N'  he teased, poking at your blushing cheek.
'Oh my.. am I really blushing?'  You asked, embarrassed.
Yoongi was giggling at you.
'Take a look for yourself'  He advised, showing you yourself in his phone camera.
Just as you were observing your face, he suddenly took a picture of your blushed-up face and ripped the phone away from you whilst laughing.
'Aw, don't worry, you look so cute!'  He cooed, staring at the picture.

'Agh! No! Delete it please!'  You pleaded, trying to snatch his phone.
He then shot up from the chair and waved his phone around in the air. Aimlessly, you jumped up trying to grab it, but he just kept it up in the air.
Suddenly, you jumped quite aerobically and managed to snatch the phone, you then deleted the picture. Slumping back down in your seat, you puffed out a sigh of relief and slammed his phone down onto the table.

'Great, now I will have no memories of that gorgeous blushing face'  He whined, giving you a sad little pout.
'Ah, Yoongi, stop being such a flirt'  Taehyung mocked from the other side of the table.
'Well, when there is this much beauty near me, how am I supposed too?'  Yoongi teased, smirking at you.
By some miracle, the bell. After shouting goodbye to them all, you grabbed Imogen and flew out the canteen, ducking into the toilets.

'I, what, that was- did you see that?!'  You stuttered.
'Y/N! He is so into you! He never does that to anybody!'  Imogen squealed.
'You really think?!'  You whimpered, staring at your red face in the mirror.
'Yes! What random guy does something like that to a girl he thinks nothing of?'  She yelped, almost jumping up and down.
'Well, I, if you say so..? But I barely know him, I need to, you know, like him first if we ever do become something official..?'  You said, your words going all over the place.
'All right, lets just see how the rest of today goes then tomorrow?'  Imogen said. 'Don't overthink anything!'  She added.

You both eventually emerged from the bathroom and went off to your next lesson. You now had maths and you happened to be in with Jungkook who sat two rows behind you. As you were about to zone out, something gently hit your back. A paperball rolled on the floor and tapped your foot, so you picked it up and un-crumpled it, reading the contents.

You looked behind you to see Jungkook smiling at you. Before the teacher saw, you quickly shoved the paper into your pocket as you turned to face Jungkook. You gave him a quick nod and thumbs up and he smiled back.
