Jimmy heard about arranged marriages all the time,the princes of Grimland and Mythland had been arranged to be wed and they were now,as their parents had died and passed on the crowns earlier than expected (plus they just liked each other and got married fast)

His sister,princess Lizzie Shadow-Solidary was arranged to marry the prince of Mezealia,of course the pinkette always spoke her mind and refused but after meeting it was 'love at first sight' as she said

"Jimmy,dear are you alright with this?" Asked his mother,right he was meant to marry the prince of Rivendell,everyone had said about the prince being cold and mean but surely it couldn't be that bad

The cod simply shook his head,getting a bit of slime everywhere before grinning "It's fine,I'm comfortable with it" he wasn't lying,from what he saw the prince was actually cute

His father simply nodded before signing the papers "Of course,you'd have to sign it too but let's let you both meet before that" the blonde simply nodded before looking at his sister and giving her a thumbs up

Their parents had sent them off to their rooms saying how 'they were going to Rivendell tomorrow so they needed an early rest' so they headed off

Just before Jimmy went to sleep,his sister walked in "You sure you're okay with this?" Lizzie was always overprotective and knew when Jimmy was forced into something but right now she didn't know

The shorter nodded again "I'm okay,now off you go,we both need sleep" and with that the taller left meaning the two sibling had fell asleep

The next day,the family had gotten ready,of course Jimmy had no extremely formal clothes so he had to make due with Lizzies help

Soon enough they got there,an elf maid had let them in and took them to the king,Queen and prince of Rivendell

As soon as Jimmy made eye contact with the other his face flushed red,making his sister laugh and start to fan him with her periwinkle coloured hand fan

"Greetings! We apologise for making you come all this way so the boys could meet before anything was decided" the parents all started talking,leaving Scott,Jimmy and Lizzie standing there

However another kid joined them,Scott's brother joined them,engaging in a conversation with the axolotl almost immediately

Scott's mother perked up and turned to his (hopefully) future husband "Scott dear! Take Jimmy on a tour will you? It would be a shame if your future husband didn't know the kingdom" the cyanette,Scott, nodded before linking arms with him before beginning the walk

As they stepped outside and walked towards the town,the elf prince explained almost everything in great detail soon however the two were surrounded by kids who were all asking so many questions

Jimmy laughed before unlinking his and Scott's arms,crouching down to their eye level "Hello little ones,my you all look fancy!" He complimented them all,everyone thanking him

Scott watched him,the cod stuck out like a sore thumb,green and a cod in a sea of blue and elf  children,some playing with his tail causing him to laugh more

Maybe this marriage wasn't as bad as he thought
