Chapter 5: I Found My Family

Alyssa's P.O.V.~

I got up from my bed it was 10 in the morning. I let out tears remember the pain and what Dylan did he did it he cut of our mate bond. I bury my head on my knees a silently cried. Sapphire was howling just like yesterday it was a pained howl but I knew he would do this. I wiped the tears away and went down stairs.

I grabbed a banana, an apple, some grapes and some bread. I began eating and when I finished I heard voices coming from another room. I followed them to a gaming room.

"I'm going to fucking kill that bastard," a female voice hissed I recognized it as Maci.

"Alyssa is the most amazing person ever and yet they treat her like that fuck them,"she continued.

I let out a small giggle.

"You know its not nice to eavesdrop Alyssa."

I turned around and I saw the Alpha's son.

He smiles,"Hi I'm Nathan but call me Nate."

I smile at him, his jet black hair was standing up in all directions because he didn't brush his hair. His pajamas were wrinkled and his pants hung a little low on his hips. His piercing green eyes were breathtaking.

"Come on," he gestures for me to follow him, and I did.

We were sitting on the couch and Nate let out a sigh,"I know it hurts, losing a mate can kill but your strong."

I stare at him at his words, give him a sad smile,"I knew this would happen but in the past few days I've learned to accept it."

He returns me a sad smile,"You know I lost my mate already, I felt her die at the age of thirteen. I was so broken so lost so miserable but I accepted it, and nothing could be done but your strong yes there will be ups and downs but you have us now."

Tears were slowly sprouting, I got up walked over to him and gave him a hug. I felt safe around Nate I could feel small tingles as I touched him but I ignored it.

I pull away and smile at him I whisper,"Thank you." He smiles and nods. I walked to the kitchen and began making lunch since it was all ready 11. I made sandwiches and fries. I made my peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies again and I hide half and put some on a different plate and took it with me. I was laying in the grass outside eating my sandwich and some fries when I heard the back door open.

I saw Maci and another girl walk towards me. I smile at her. She had long red hair and hazel brown eyes. She was really pretty too.

I got up and Maci said,"Abby this is Alyssa, Alyssa Abigail."

I hand her the cookie plate and her mouth watered, I laughed as they devoured cookie after cookie.

"Damn girl you make a mean cookie," Abigail says I smile.

"Thanks."

The the boys burst through the door Abigail and Maci hide the cookie plate behind their backs.

"Hi I'm James and this is my brother Joseph," the twin with the pale green eyes says.

I nod,"I'm Nate's beta Trey," I smile at him.

"You're a really great cook," James says making me blush.

"That's part of the reason we're here we smelled the cookies from yesterday but we didn't get to eat them thanks to someone," Joseph says playfully glaring at Maci.

She rolls her eyes, I laugh and I grab the plate a shoved it forward towards them and said,"Sharing is caring."

They smiled at me and said,"At least she's nice."
