Audrey looked at herself in the mirror critically. Alexander was behind her, his arms crossed, his phone and laptop out as always, as he multitasked between ignoring her and working. Her hand smoothed down her soft belly, flexing it, and dropping her shirt with a sigh. Her eyes sought his in the mirror, but he paid her no mind, engulfed in his work. She sighed.

"Did you take me out to work?" She asked.

He looked up from his laptop, opening his hands helplessly, as his phone rang, he answered, tapping his Bluetooth headphones.

She sighed, turning her attention back to herself in the mirror, the image, twisting and distorting.

"Speak," He ordered, typing furiously.

Audrey sighed. There was only one way to get his attention. She turned around, shutting the dressing room door, and locking it, getting on her knees.

"No, when I said settle, I didn't mean for 60 percent. Would you settle for 60 percent of your salary? Hm? Yeah, I fucking thought so," He cursed, his second phone ringing.

Audrey silently unbuckled his pants. He glanced down at her in question, raising his brow. She didn't heed his inquiry, watching feet pass under the door, as she pulled him out of his pants.

"What do you mean you can't go any higher?" He frowned, "They just signed a multimillion-dollar deal, and you're telling me..." he trailed, watching her take him in her mouth.

Now he was paying attention. Of course, now he was paying attention. Her eyes weren't on his though. She wondered about the other girls in the boutique who walked back and forth in front of the door. She wondered if they had to do this. She wondered if they lived their lives with love and money, and everything they could want without getting on their knees for it. She wondered if, they could see her like she could see them. If they wondered about her life like she wondered about theirs.

Alexander hung up the phone, watching her. He'd meant this trip to be something to cheer her up, lift hr from that rut she was in.

He grunted, spilling inside her mouth. Audrey wiped her mouth, sitting in the corner, drawing her knees to her chest with a sigh.

"I think I just wanna go home, Steel." She muttered.

Alexander frowned. "You didn't even get anything."

Audrey stood. "Yeah, it's fine. Let's just go."

His phone rang once more, both of them going off at once. He looked at the caller ID. His eyes were drawn to it. By the time he looked up, she'd slunk away, leaving the dressing room, and walking toward the car. Alexander sighed, following after her hastily.

"I got caught in work and," Suddenly he stopped. Why was he apologizing? He didn't owe her anything. She was just someone he felt sorry for. A woman he occasionally fucked. Why was he so frantically trying to explain himself? He scoffed. "Look, Audrey...I'm not sure what's going on."

Audrey leaned on the window.

He continued, starting the drive back to her dorm. "But it's not really my job to make you feel better. I'm not your boyfriend, and I'm not your daddy."

Audrey said nothing.

He frowned deeply. "Say something!" He demanded.

Audrey said nothing.

He heaved a sigh. "Then...you've got feeling,s don't you? You're disappointed I'm not returning them?"

Audrey stared at him, huddled against the door. "Yeah. So what? You gonna give up young pussy you can have whenever you want?"
