Six Months

Nicole's POV

I unlocked the door to our house and walked in with Ashton and Eva.

I fell back onto the couch and Ashton sat next to me.

"Hey, Eva you can go play in the back if you want!" I shouted into the house.

I close my eyes being tired, not getting sleep for two days.

I'm all of a sudden awaken by Eva slamming the back door shut running to her play scape.

"Hey Ash?"

Yeah?

"Do you want to go out to eat with Eva?" Ashton asked.

Sure, I'll go get her ready.

No it's okay I got her, your tired.

"But Ash you just got out of the hosp.."

He cut me off, "Nicole it's fine I got it"

I smiled and he walked outside to grab Eva.

Ashton walked upstairs with Eva and got her changed.

"Ready?"

Yeah let's go! Eva come here, let me get you buckled in.

We arrived at a local diner and walked inside.

The aroma of fresh bread filled the restaurant.

I was looking at the menu when I heard Ashton talking.

I looked up and saw two unfamiliar boys standing there.

"Nicole this is Calum and Michael they are two of my friends were in a band called 5 Seconds Of Summer."

Oh hi guys! I said cheerfully.

They both waved.

I didn't know you were in a band Ashton!

"Yeah that's why I sometimes get home late, band practice"

Oh that's cool.

The waiter came over and Michael and Calum left.

"Would you guys like anything to drink"

I'll have a water, "I'll have a coke please and she will have a juice."

"Okay, I'll be right back with your drinks and would you like a booster seat for your daughter?"

Yes, that would be great. Thank you.

She came back with a booster seat and our drinks. "What would you like to order"

I'll have the grilled burger with cheese and the side of fries.

She will have the chicken tenders with fries and ranch.

"And I'll have the ribeye steak with fries also."

Okay your orders will be right out.

We ate dinner and headed back to the car.

SKIP CAR RIDE

I unlocked the house and walked inside with Eva in my arms.

She was asleep so I walked upstairs and tucked her in.

I walked back downstairs, and Laid down on the couch, and fell into a deep sleep.

I was awoken by yelling on the phone.

"I JUST GOT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL!"

"I CANT GO, I NEED TO BE HERE!"

There was a long pause.

"I CANT CALM DOWN, YOU WANT ME TO GO SOMEPLACE ACROSS THE WORLD"

I heard Ashton slam the phone on the table, and walk upstairs.

I decide to ask him about it in the morning.

I woke up and looked at the clock, I was in my room with Ash. He must of carried me to bed.

I saw suitcases in the closet...

Ashton why are those out?

"Nicole, I..I'm going on tour"

What do you mean! For how long?!!

By then I was crying.

Ashton came over and sat next to me, he sat me in his lap.

"Nicole listen to me honey, it's going to be 6 months. I tried to get out of it I can't"

I started to cry even harder, how was I going to last with Ashton for 6 months.

"We can talk and Skype every day"

When..ar...are you leaving? I stuttered

"Tomorrow"

I collapsed on the floor and lost it.

I ran to the bathroom and locked the door.

"Nicole please open the door"

No!

I heard Ashton sit down against the door and say

"I'm not leaving until you unlock the door" "I'm sorry Nicole"

I hesitantly unlocked the door, Ashton came in and picked me up.

"Nicole it's okay, I'll be back as soon as I can"

"Come on let's go watch a movie with Eva"

okay.

I walked into Eva's room and woke her up.

Good morning baby

"Momwy why are you crying?"

Mommy's just sad Eva

"Why?"

Daddy has to go away for a few months with his band friends.

"Oh" is all she said

I don't think she understood just yet on how long he was going to be gone.

Ashton Me and Eva were sitting watching the movie as it ended.

I looked at the clock at noticed it was 3pm.

Only three more hours until Ashton left.

---Three hours Later (Sponge bob narrator voice) ---

I buckled Eva into the car as I was crying.

I got into the car and Ashton drove to the Airport.

45 minutes later we arrived.

"Flight 475, to The United States."

I started crying and soon Eva was crying.

Ashton picked up Eva and said goodbye.

And then I hugged him with Eva still in his arms.

Soon fans were surrounding in the airport.

He tried to put Eva down but she gripped his arm like her life depended on it.

"Eva daddy has to go"

She started screaming and Thrashing in Ashton's arms.

I tried to pull her off of him.

"NO DADDY DONT GO!! I NEED YOU!!! She was sobbing. "NO..NOOO DADDY DONT LEAVE ME I WUV YOU!!"

I picked her up in my arms, and waved to Ashton walking off to board the plane with Calum, Michael, and...Luke?

Luke was in the band..hmm maybe he began to be nicer.

I couldn't worry about that, I was worrying how I was going to be okay without Ashton for 6 months.
