Nicole's POV

We walked inside and sat on the couch.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

I guess so, I cant keep it to myself forever.

I just don't know who to trust anymore, my mum abuses me, Luke cheated on me...my world is falling apart on me.

"Aww Nicole come here" He put his arm around me, as I nestled my head under his chin.

Ashton I missed you so so much. "I missed you too Nicole."

He kissed my nose, but instead of Luke it was the person who's been with me since kindergarten.

It felt relaxing, I felt butterflies in my stomach as I kissed him back.

I pulled away, and smiled. "Your so adorable" I blushed.

I grabbed his phone and to the other room laughing. "Nicole.."
He groaned and then started to laugh.

Ashton's POV

Her dimples in her laugh made me smile even more.

She was so beautiful, I was so glad she wasn't mad at me anymore.

I felt like such a jerk when I scared her so much she left.

I regret every moment.

I should have been protecting her from Luke, not having him be a person she could go to...she had no one to go to.

I felt horrible.

Nicole's POV

I looked over to Ashton staring off into space. Ashton whats wrong?

"Nothing just thinking."

About what?

"How glad I am that your not mad at me anymore"

Ashton I couldn't be mad at you, even though I ran out I didn't hate you.

Whenever I got nervous around my mom I ran, for miles.

Its just an instinct I guess.

And then Luke made it worse..I felt okay with him, but he ruined it.

I thought I could trust him but I cant I don't know why I thought that.

Im so stupid...

"Nicole, your not stupid. Luke is just a dick. He hurt you in the worst way possible-Physical and emotional"

I began to cry, my eyes were red, bloodshot and puffy.

Tears stream down my face, I could taste the salty tears in my mouth.

"Nicole, shh shh its okay. Im here, its fine"

"Ashton, can I still stay over for a few. I don't want to deal with my mom, she'll probably end up killing me."

"Yeah, I was hoping you'd say that" he said smirking.

I rolled my eyes, laughing. Your so cheesy Ashton.

It was 8pm so we decided to go to my house and grab my stuff.

I walked inside and my mum was standing at the door way.

Lucky for me she saw me, and started screaming

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!"

Uh..no..nowhere.

"YES YOU WERE TELL ME NOW"

I was with a friend.

"WHAT FRIEND, YOU DONT HAVE ANY FRIENDS". She laughed

She smacked me across the face, as Ashton walked in.

Ashton's POV

I walked in to Nicole getting hit by her mom, I immediately grabbed her and picked her up.

And started to yell at her mum for hurting such an innocent person.

"WHY WOULD YOU HURT HER!" "SHE'S YOUR DAUGHTER"

I walked out the door with Nicole in my arms.

I set her in the car and told her to lock the doors.

I entered her house, and went upstairs to grab her items.

I found a suitcase in her closet so I grabbed random clothes, and her makeup from the bathroom.

I walked back outside and got in the car, and left.
