Silenced

Right to education for all they said
I despised the institution as a child
Indeed.
On with school build a career to
The end mine said.
So on with it I went to learn
Indeed.

They taught to use a mind like mine
No doubt.
It learnt it thought it grew
Unstoppable.
It became complex on its own
Undoubtedly.
What it saw it questioned complexity in growth without
Question.
It made them proud when it
Conformed to design of culture
And tradition obviously.
But when it began to think alone
It was rebellious suddenly.
Yet you forced it to school to learn
And grow but now I am silenced.
