You laid me down on a bed of roses.
Soft, colourful and dreamy.
I enjoyed it.
I fell asleep to your soft voice,
Serenading poems of endless love.
You laid me down on cloud nine.
The tender, floating cloud felt
Like magic.
I listened dreaming as you told
Tales of the life we would share.
You stood me up on Seventh Heaven.
Where you are is paradise.
I love you, I love being loved,
Oh yes, I loved.
Went all in.
You told me to wait.
Remembering all you promised,
In vain I keep waiting.
