Life in the fast lane
Forever chasing glory
Pressure pressing under
Eternally seeking greatness
Then I stop
I sit and stop
I did not notice the sun was out
Already
How radiant it is
I thought birds chirping was
Annoying before
But today I hear their melody
Today I see my reflection in
A whole new light
The breathless moment
I took for granted.
