only wanted when needed
only asked for when your leaves are wilting
and your flowers are drooping
of only being convenient
only cared for when you realize you've used me
only looked at because you're bored
and theres no one else to look at
why can't i be sunshine?
why can't i always be wanted?
why can't i be what people smile at
and beg to come back?
why don't i get to be blue sky?
why don't people notice me and light up?
why don't people see me
and know it'll be a good day?
i just want to be sunshine.
