you make me feel more machine than human
you push my buttons and expect reactions
and are disappointed when it's not the right one
you pull my levers and turn my knobs
and get angry when I can't compute
you type and you code
and you push and push and push
until I combust
and then you restart me
again and again and again
at some point
all this overheating will melt me
at some point
these wires will burn out
and what will you do then
who will you kick and scream at
who will you force to work to the bone
just to make yourself look accomplished
you tell me I'm selfish
for not being a robot for you
for not being able to take on the inhuman workload
but you're wrong
I'm not made of steel and binary code
I cant do the work you are giving me
and I am tired of combusting for you
I'm not your robot
and I'm not your machine
