Mickey heard the knock on the door and walked to it and answered

Ian spoke holding up about 6 grams of weed in a bag

Mickey then held up a small stack of cut rolling papers he walked away to his room leaving the door open and Ian walked in and followed him
They began rolling joints and chatted about school being a bitch as usual
"Yeah fuck the math teacher I ain't doing shit she gives me no matter how easy it is"
"You really call trigonometry easy this shit makes no sense"

Ian wrote on a random book next to Mickeys bed and wrote one of the hardest equations he could find out of his textbook that he had memorised
He handed it to him and Mickey didn't even hesitate to solve it

Mickey looked at him as if he was stupid and just playing around
"Come on man that's like what we learnt first isn't it u know the basics or whatever"
"No it's not I found it in the last of the textbook we haven't even learnt this?"

Mickey rolled his eyes and lit up one of the joints they rolled and passed one to Ian while smoking one himself
"You ever consider doing that work in class?"
"Why bother I'm fucked for life anyway man"
Mickey half laughed believing the idea that anything beyond smoking, stealing and beating people up for a living was absurd
"Mick with the amount of math and stuff you know you could end up going to college and shit"
"With what money Ian"
"Scholarship, that's what we're trying to convince Lip to do"
"Doubt that would work man"
"Come on if it's that easy for you to do math as well"
Mickey sighed and took another drag of his joint
"If I say I'll do it can we get on with banging?"
Ian smiled at Mickey before reaching over and taking the last puff on Mickeys joint and putting it out
