Charlie's POV
I squint my eyes as the sun enters my room through my window,
Ugh
I thought as I remember I have school today
I don't like going to school, Nick's gonna be there
"Charlie! Darling! Come downstairs breakfast's ready! " my mum said,
After changing I go downstairs, my mum and dad were already eating, I was guessing my sister tori was already done and probably went to school
I ate my breakfast, and waited for my mum to get ready so that she can take me to school
"Muuuummm! Are you doneee???! " I screamed impatiently, I don't like going to school cuz of Nick but that doesn't mean I wanna miss my classes
"Wait! I'm almost done! " she said as she fixed her sleeves, I look at her, she looks... Well, like my mom
"Do I look good? " she asked with a small smile, "yes mum, you look great, now can we go?? I don't wanna be late" I said.
"Alright alright, come on then" she said placing her hand on my shoulder
~at school~
I look at the building in front of me, my mum in the car behind me, I turn around, running to my mother, I smiled at her "love you mum" I said with a smile
"Love you to dear, now go one, you don't wanna be late now do you? " she said chuckling, I smiled and ran into my school.
Just as I was walking I bumped into someone, I fell back but, for some reason they didn't fall back or even stumble,
Ouch
I thought as I looked up and to my stupid bad luck, it's was Nick, the one and only
He gave me a little smirk, this little- he did not just smirk at me
He didn't even help me up! How rude, seriously
I got up myself and went to class, it's hard to ignore someone when they have the same classes as you, gosh
My first class was science, we were learning about body parts. And we were suppose to study them, and put them together,
"Find a partner everyone, good luck " my teacher said, I was about to ask this guy beside me but he already pared up with this girl, I looked around and everyone else already had a partner, except for Nick, of course it had to be Nick,
This is certainly bad luck, but it can't get any worse right?? Nah

(I'm lazy so js try to imagine Nick doing sum bad)
I was going home after the Nick incident
I wasn't in the mood for anymore bad luck. I was walking to my locker till all of a sudden I got pulled by my arm into a room, the janitors I think
It was Nick
What did he want??
"What do you want" I wanted him to know I wasn't in the mood for jokes and pranks
"I swear if something happens once I leave this room I will hate you for life" I said, I didn't trust this guy, there was no way I'm actually going to trust him Nuh uh
"Gosh can you stop? I'm not doing anything, and there is nothing behind that door once you walk out, I honestly just wanna talk" he said, yeah right
"You've been pulling pranks on me ever since we met, how on earth am I ment to know if you really just wanna " talk "? " I said as I furrowed my eyebrows, I can't trust him
We stood there for a few seconds
Then I noticed how close me and him wer-
WHAT uhum no, forget that.
I was getting a bit hot and I started to sweat
I pushed him away a little bit "it's kinda hot"
I said fanning myself "yeah let's go outside, everyone will think we made out or something" he said, I looked at him with disgusted, "eewwhh" I said shaking my head
He chuckled and smile, genuinely,
"You actually smile? Wow"
I said trying to make a joke, I find myself quite funny
"Ha ha" he said with a straight face
Well, obviously he doesn't
We both went out of the janitors closest and almost no one was in the halls
"How long have we been the janitors closest? "
I asked, he doesn't respond, did we really take that long?
I looked at him and he was looking around, probably hoping people were still here even just a little
No single human being was in the halls except for me and Nick.
"Uhm, I should get going" I said I look up at him, and scratched my neck
He looked down at me, he was always taller, from kindergarten to right now that me and him were in 6th grade
"Oh right, uh sure, get home safe" he said with a slight smirk, "get home safe"? I thought to myself,
"Why do you care? " I said smiling
"I just don't want my enemy to die, who would I annoy if you weren't around? "
"Hmm" I thought jokingly, I smile at him
"I guess no one" and he straightened his back and smiled "Excactly" he said and turned around, this idiot
"Exit's this way idiot" I said "huh? " he said and noticed he was going the wrong way "oh oopss" I laughed a bit and I swore I saw his cheeks go pink, that's kinda cute- EH?? again? No I'm not gay, I am not gay, I can't be
"Gay for me yet? Not really a surprise, everyone is" Nick said with a tiny smirk, but it was still visible
I scoffed, "yeah right"
I nudged him, he nudged me back and offered to walk me home
I accepted his offer and me and him actually got along well
That wasn't really a short one, was it? But again who cares
