"War General Saigoni it's been a long time." King Tarvold says sarcastically. "How is your father?"

"Dead and six feet under." I look up at the man my face stoic as can be. I don't know why he was trying to push my buttons he was practically begging for a death wish. "But you already know that."

"It's slipped my mind, your father was a good man." He chuckles before glancing at Leon. "Commanding Officer Walhgren it's good to see you."

"Likewise sir." Leon says.

"I assume you two gentlemen know why you're here?" Queen Victoria finally speaks up.

"By the twenty plus letters I've received from the both of you I'm afraid to assume it's about my wife." My voice thick with bored sarcasm, I was ready to leave.

"My wife." Queen Victoria clicks her tongue, "funny choice of words. I am to assume you plan on staying with her?"

"I do not plan on saying, "I do," a second time."

The two royals visibly tense in discomfort and shock. I could see Tarvald fat bulging cheeks redden in anger. "General Saigoni might I remind you the reason you are here is to bring your wife to us. She needs to be held in court for treason, of course for humanities sake. She's housed two dragons and allowed them to grow into full grown dragons. Ivy Carmine-"

"Saigoni." I correct, "she is still very much so and will always remain my wife."

Tarvold shifts in his throne and sends me a nasty glare but he doesn't speak on my rudeness or my abrupt interruption. Anyone else would be punished to death, like I said King Tarvold was a cowardly man and knew when to pick his fights. He knew not to step to me unless he wanted to die an agonizing death and trust me I'd make it is as slow as physically possible.

"Ivy Saigoni needs to be punished for her crimes however the court seems fit. We want you to bring your wife to the capital to be dealt with properly, we will hold a fair trial and hear her side of the story. Whatever the court decides, we will go from there."

"And if I don't?"

Queen Victoria sits up in here throne taking a puff of her cigarette from her quellazaire. "Is that really something you want to do?"

"I asked a question so I'm expecting an answer."

"It's sounds like you're threatening us Juko Saigoni." Queen Victoria hisses giving me a sly look.

"We want your full cooperation on this General Saigoni, we can't risk having intelligent beings aiding our enemy in the next upcoming war." The King quickly weighs in. "We only require your mutual support in this mission, all we want is the girl. You will be compensated for your time in payment and as many whores as you want or to your hearts desire."

"I do not want the money or the whores you're offering me. Bribing me won't change my opinion on the fact that whatever my wife tells you she will not be fairly heard. The court will decide to kill her regardless of whatever she states. I will not be bringing her to the capital, she will stay at home safe with me."

"After all we have done for you!" King Tarvold snarls standing on his stubby short legs and juts out his chunky fingers that looks like it's been jammed. He was a ugly short bastard I could admit and looking at him only made me want to cut out my own eyeballs. Every time I looked at him I was tempted to take a razor and cut the patchy beard that only grew on his double chin. "I gave you that title and I gave you the land you currently lead. If I wanted too in a snap of my fingers I could make it all disappear, do you hear me boy?! How dare you come into my home and disrespect me!"

I take a step forward watching as the two men in front of me and the eight guards behind me unsheathe their swords. "I am very tempted to kill your where you stand my lord." I smile, my words laced in venom.

"Are you threatening my husband?" Queen Victoria stands from her chair.

"As well as you Victoria. You two may be a King and Queen but I still run the army, a army that has been by my side since the very beginning. My men are loyal and we all know that very well or have you both forgotten our last visit?" A sick, twisted smile rests on my face when I see Tarvold and Victoria nearly shrink in horror. "I could kill the both of you and paint this whole fucking room red. I can have my men seize Unity if I wanted too, I could very much so take over the capital and the sixteen kingdoms. Everyone in this room knows that and anyone against me would die by my hand. You elites are selfish bastards fueled with nothing but hate and greed. This is your warning King Tarvold." I lazily glance at Queen Victoria hardly acknowledging the annoying hag too. "If either of you attempt to have my wife kidnapped I will make do on my promise. I hope you understand, I'd hate to repeat myself."

They knew everything I said was truth they just had a hard time hearing it out loud. A lot of my men surprisingly enough told me regardless of everything they would remain by my side. I knew this had to do with the army having to constantly beg for resources. Resources that I ended up providing with my own money.

The King and Queen weren't worth shit especially without a army. I could always take my men and the people willing to follow and create one own kingdom or seize the land. Of course the latter sounded far more appeasing.

"B-but... the rumors and-and... do you not care for your family, your friends and humanity at all? We could all be wiped off the face of the earth if we do not do something about this problem. Ivy is a cancerous cell, woman that will destroy everything in her path. She will need to be punished for her crimes I want her head!"The Queen nearly shrieks.

"Victoria that's enough!" The King booms, the woman stares at her husband flabbergasted from his yelling. Inhaling deeply and recomposing herself, she drops in her chair and takes a seat on her throne glaring at me in silence.

"General Saigoni I just hope that you know what you're doing. As a man of war myself you must know those monsters cannot be trusted. I must do everything in my power to keep chaos from breaking out."

I sigh, "have you spoke with Richard Carmine lately?" I ask out of genuine curiosity.

"No? What does Ivy's father have to do with anything?" King Tarvold frowns.

"He's your best friend isn't he?" I take out my blade still bloody from carving and stabbing into Richards face. "You should visit him sometime, I hear he isn't doing so good these days."

The color from King Tarvold and Queen Victoria's fave flushes out completely especially when they see the bloodied blade. "What have you done?"

"Just a friendly reminder to the world of what happens if you attempt to touch my wife. Now I have to go I have a long journey ahead of me back to Amorite, don't make me come back here Tarvold. Next time things won't end so nice."
