Hunter looked into the distance, waiting for Tech's signal. They had a run-in with some Imperials. From what was supposed to be a harmless supply run turned into a fight for their lives. The batch wasn't prepared to come face to face with a whole squad of troopers and now they were paying the price for it.

"Come on, Tech," Hunter muttered under his breath as he continued to stare in his brother's general direction. "What's taking so long?" The Sergeant impatiently asked. The longer something took in an unexpected situation was never a good sign. It meant something bad could be happening and he wouldn't know what until after it happened.

"Hey, Hunter?" Wrecker whispered to the best of his ability. "How much longer are we gonna wait? The coast seems pretty clear to me." He wasn't wrong. From their hiding spot there wasn't an imperial in sight, but without eyes from the rooftop, they only had a limited view.

"We'll give him one more minute. Did you try to comm them already?"

Wrecker grimaced. "Jammed."

"Great." Hunter let out a huff of frustration. "I have a bad feeling about this."

From the rooftop, Tech sat perched on the edge, careful not to be seen. He had a head start before the chase began and that gave him the opportunity to take refuge on top of one of the many buildings.

"Tech, the comms are jammed." Omega quietly walked over to him, leaning her back against the side of the ledge. "How are we supposed to tell the others if something goes wrong?" Omega asked with concern for her brothers in her voice.

Tech gently touched her arm. "Don't worry, Omega. We've been in much more dangerous scenarios. I'm sure everything will be okay. Besides, Echo hasn't been identified by the Imperials yet so if anything were to go wrong, Echo will know what to do." Tech was glad he had his helmet on so Omega couldn't see the slight twist of uncertainty on his face. He didn't want to worry her, but he hadn't heard from Echo since they had all been separated. He was supposed to meet at least one of the pairs fifteen minutes ago, but never showed up. Wherever he was, Tech hoped for the best.

Omega nodded, replacing her frown with an optimistic smile. She pulled her knees to her chest as Tech continued to scout out their surroundings.

"Looks like everything is clear. I see no signs of life below or around us." He had double checked with his datapad and scanned for any heat signatures as well. Tech stood up a bit more, ready to give Hunter the signal to go when a loud bang was heard behind them.

"There!" Multiple men in white armor swarmed the rooftop.

"That isn't good," Tech said to himself, raising his hands in the air. He sent Omega a look, urging her to do the same. Normally he would have put up more of a fight, but they were vastly outnumbered. The smartest thing to do was to cooperate for the meantime. He'd figure something out.

"Hands behind your back! You're both coming with us!" The leader of the squad sent two troopers over to apprehend the two members of Clone Force 99.

Omega glared back at the trooper who roughly grabbed her arms, holding them in place behind her. "Get off!" She moved around, trying her best to shake him off.

"Shut it, kid." The man shoved her forward with enough force to make her stumble.

"Don't speak to her," Tech growled, giving the stormtrooper the death glare from under his helmet.

"You aren't in the position to be giving orders, clone." The trooper behind him twisted his arm slightly. Tech ignored the uncomfortable pinch of pain. He had to find a way out of this predicament. Fast.
