KQ Entertainment announces Ateez Ryu to go on hiatus after finishing concerts in Japan and denies solo debut

Ateez Ryu has been announced to go on her first hiatus after finishing the concert with Ateez, and will be staying in Japan to work on her own physical health, mental health and promote in Japan for a couple of months.
Recently rumours of Ateez Ryu getting a solo debut spread throughout social media saying that the reason why Ateez Ryu's pictures for her groups new comeback weren't released was because she was going to promoting her very first solo album. KQ Entertainment released a statement regarding and addressing the rumors and putting an end to them.
“ Hello everyone this is KQ Entertainment, we are here to address the rumors about our artist Ryu. As many of you have heard there are rumors about Ateez Ryu getting a solo debut and not promoting with Ateez's new comeback. We will be honest and say that Ryu was offered a solo debut in Japan or Korea and she denied both options and said that she wanted to continue to promote the groups newest comeback. Unfortunately around the time the groups concept photos were being released Ryu was rushed to the hospital after practice, a month prior to Ryu being sent to the hospital she came to us discussing her mental health. She told us that she wasn't feeling well about certain things but she still wanted to promote with the group. We advised Ryu that if she wasn't feeling well by the time the photos were released that she should tell us. And Ryu did inform us but fought to perform with Ateez in Japan. We agreed and made a deal with Ryu that she'll be staying in Japan to be with family and to work on both her physical and mental health. She'll stay in Japan and promote if she wants too. We hope fans understand and support Ryu in until she feels better to comeback. ”
While Ateez returns from Japan Ryu will stay and recover, fans are hoping Ryu returns soon and gets better to promote and join the group with their new world tours.

The fact that you can tell that Ryu wasn't feeling well and the members knew and tried to check in on her

I hope she takes time to herself and enjoys spending time with her family
