Trips to Tokyo have always been a hassle, regardless of how important they are. With it being the second most important location the organization has, it's pivotal that Shinobu makes his way over here every few months or so. Even so, he's always found these trips to be more irritating than beneficial. There's never a moment's peace and someone is always on his heels, even now on his way out of the bathroom. He comes to a halt in the middle of a hallway and grumbles, "Surely you can afford to give me five minutes of alone time, can't you, Riku?"

The man behind him stops several feet away. "Well, I could if we could make it to your meetings on time."

Shinobu rolls his eyes, "I don't need somebody to delegate the way I spend my time. If people want to meet with me, they can wait. Riku, I'm telling you now to leave me alone."

"But, Yui said—"

"Yui is a fool who was given a job to do, much like the fool I'm speaking to. Are fools in charge?" He asks.

"No."

"That's what I thought. Now, I believe I told you to leave me be," he answers. He listens as Riku's footsteps recede down the hall, leaving him alone. He takes a deep breath and makes his way to the private office at the end of the hall. It's not a room he visits often, and save for the person assigned to clean it every week, no one else is permitted entry without his express permission. It's the only place in this godforsaken building that is off-limits to everyone else. He sighs as he takes his seat at the desk and turns on his computer. He takes a moment to print the report that was sent to him as well as the agenda for his next meeting.

Upon having his things organized, he decides to take an extra minute or so to soak up what little silence is left of his day. He spins the chair around so that he can get a better view of the world outside of his window. His face twists in disgust as he watches people walking below, going about their normal lives. He hates seeing the world thrive outside of his window. Selfish people, ignorant people, unforgiving people, the world is plagued with them and those similar enough. As far as Shinobu is concerned, nearly every person that walks the face of the planet is revolting. Even so, he's molded himself in their image. If their hate is going to be strong, his will be stronger. Soon enough, they'll be met with the consequences of their actions. They'll know the hatred of the man that they turned their back on.

The good thing about putting yourself on a pedestal is that you can look down on everyone else as you unleash chaos below.

Patience.

He runs his fingers through his hair and grabs the stack of paperwork before making his way out of the office and to the conference room. He opens the door and whatever chatter there was beforehand disappears in an instant as everyone comes to realize that he's here. He quickly makes his way to the end of the table and takes his seat. At the other end of the room sits Yui and Riku, both ready to leave at the drop of a hat. Shinobu snarls, he hates that they're in here, but he supposes it's beneficial to have a couple of nobodies in here in case they need something. He sets his things down, "Let's begin. Daiki, whenever you're ready."

The man to his right clears his throat and begins to speak, rattling on about the slow increase of their reach across the nation. Shinobu is already well aware of all of this, as he'll be visiting all of the new locations for the next month or so before returning to Tokyo for another round of these insufferable meetings. He allows himself to drown out the monotonous sound of his right-hand man's voice but remains focused enough to appear as if he's actually paying attention. The man continues to drone on and on, slowly taking away any willpower and composure that Shinobu has managed to hold on to throughout the day. He leisurely reaches for his pen. One click , silence. Two clicks , attention. Daiki clears his throat, "Yes sir?"
