Katsuki stands at the end of the driveway leaning against his car and staring down at the house. He's not really sure why he came here so early. Dinner isn't for another four hours, and he'd have to pick Kyoka up before then. Is it weird that I came just to see him a little while before everyone else came? Surely not, right? He inhales deeply and pushes himself off the car. He starts to make his way to the door, not giving himself a second chance to rethink it. Before he knows it, he finds himself knocking on the door.
There's no answer. So, he tries again.
Another minute or so passes without someone coming to the door, so he turns on his heel to start walking back to the car. He's just unlocked the car when he hears Izuku's door swing open. "K-Katsu?" He asks, his voice breathy.
He turns around to see a flustered Izuku standing in the doorway. His chest rises and falls with every breath, his cheeks flushed and bright pink. His damp curls hang in front of his face, almost disguising the fact that he won't meet him in the eye. "Hey, nerd. What took you so long to answer the door?" he asks.
Izuku looks back into the house, his arm pulling the door closed behind him. His hand falls from the doorknob and he scrambles to catch it again. He chuckles nervously, trying to close the distance between the door and its frame quicker. "Well, I was just-- I was, it was..."
Oh. Katsuki realizes. I see. I was interrupting something. He clears his throat, "Where's your mom?"
Izuku's blush deepens as he looks away. "She's out, getting some things for dinner. Did you need her for something?"
Katsuki feels his own cheeks flush as he realizes that Izuku's shirt is on backward and inside out. He struggles to keep his composure at the thought of Izuku alone in his room, his own hands working himself to climax instead of himself doing it for him. He can almost see the way Izuku's mouth would fall open and his eyes would squeeze shut as he came onto his hands. Katsuski feels his cock twitch in his pants, causing him to snap out of it. He shoves his hands in his pockets and tries to force himself to look away, "No, I was actually coming to see you for a little bit, if that's okay."
He seems somewhat dazed, his response delayed. "Uh, yeah. Come in, would you like something to drink?"
"Yeah. Some water would be nice," Katsuki answers shortly. He follows Izuku inside of the house that he shares with another man despite his mind being filled with thoughts of what it would be like to build a life of his own with Izuku. Izuku's nerves seem to be settling a little although his hand is shaking as he fills a glass with water. Izuku hands him the water as he stands across from the bar behind the stove. Katsuki takes a sip, trying to settle his own nerves as his eyes meet Izuku's. "You look cute when you're flustered, by the way," he says under his breath. He could've sworn he was quiet enough to not be fully heard, but telling by the way that Izuku turns his back and walks back to the sink, he can tell he heard him.
"I'm gonna go change. We can hang out or talk when I get back," he says. "Are you going to be okay down here for a minute on your own?"
Katsuki nods, "I'll be fine."
He watches as Izuku scurries out of the kitchen and into the other room. He listens as his footsteps recede upstairs. He feels his body relax as soon as he realizes he's alone. He tries to erase any lingering thoughts of Izuku from his mind. He shouldn't be thinking of him like that, not right now at least. He finishes his water and moves into the living room, looking around. The house seems cozy, but he can't help but think it's all a sham. He can't imagine that it can be that comfortable when Izuku can't bring himself to call Masashi himself comfortable. He hears Izuku coming back down the stairs and he looks back to see him standing at the foot of the stairs. He's swapped out his sleep shirt and his baggy shorts for a sweater and some black pants. Katsuki averts his gaze, "You've got a nice place."
