Izuku smiles, "Thanks. I did most of the decorating. I wanted it to feel like a home although it was supposed to be temporary. With the way, things have been, I'm glad I got to do what I wanted." He makes his way further into the living room and sits down on the couch. "Feel free to make yourself comfortable. It's as functional as it is decorative, you know."

"Right," Katsuki realizes aloud as he makes his way to the couch. He settles into his seat, opting for the spot directly next to Izuku.

Izuku pulls his knees to his chest as he wraps his arms around his legs. "So, what did you have in mind?"

Katsuki looks around the room, frantically looking for something they could do. He honestly didn't think he'd make it this far. "Do you want to watch something?" he asks.

"Sure. I don't usually watch much, so if you have something in mind, it's probably best if we go with whatever you're thinking," he explains.

He tries to think through something, anything that Izuku might find remotely interesting. He's not really sure about either of the things his mind seems to be gravitating towards. On one hand, one option is a side of himself that he's kept mostly hidden. On the other hand, the other option is somewhat intense. "Do you want to start a show or watch a movie?" he asks.

He shrugs, "A show seems like quite the commitment. I think we should stick to a movie for today."

"Okay. Well, are you okay with a scary movie?" Katsuki inquires.

"Yeah. Sure," Izuku answers. "If that's what you want to watch, I'm okay with that."

"Alright," Katsuki answers. Izuku hands him the remote after he turns the tv on. Katsuki scrolls through the movies, trying to find something that might have the potential to be interesting for them both. He finally settles on a movie and starts it. He takes a glance at Izuku noting how he's moved his feet to the floor and his hands to his lap, his fingers interlaced with one another as the movie begins to play.

He tries to keep himself distracted with the movie as much as he can rather than thinking about how close Izuku seems to be. He barely notices Izuku shrinking further into his seat and his hand slowly inching closer to his as if desperate for someone to hold onto. That is, until a particularly shocking jump scare. His arms are hugged into his chest as he tries to bury his face into Katsuki's shoulder. The gesture shocks him at first, but there's something nice about Izuku clinging to him. I hate that he's scared but I love that he's so close .

Katsuki places his hand on Izuku's back and he traces light circles there with his fingers. If he tries hard enough, he can almost convince himself that this is normal, that this is their home and they're just having a lazy day in. He likes that thought, the thought of them together. His hand slowly comes to a halt and rests in place in the middle of his back. He can feel Izuku still trembling slightly beneath his touch. "Izuku, do you—"

The door at the front slams shut interrupting his sentence. Izuku jumps away in an instant, his face growing pale. Katsuki can't bring himself to move other than to put his hands on his lap to create some distance between him and Izuku. Who's at the door?

Inko walks in with a few bags, smiling nervously, "Sorry, Izu, I didn't mean to slam your— Oh, hi. Katsu, am I right?"

His eyes grow wide in realization as Izuku visibly relaxes next to him. Katsuki nods, "Yep, that's me. Do you need help grabbing anything?"

"Oh, I left a couple of things by the door, but I can get them," she says.

Katsuki gets out of his seat, making his way to the door. "Don't sweat it, I've got it," he smiles. Inko smiles back with a soft thank you as he makes his way past her. He quickly grabs the few bags she left at the door and makes his way into the kitchen to set them down. Izuku is helping her take things out of the bags. They work on the groceries, either putting them away or setting them aside to be used later.
